"I was thinking this..." Desmond threw one of his Net Balls. "Ariados, use Spider Web!" The spider-like pokémon appeared and shot a net made of silk at the nearest Bastiodon, entangling it.

"Yes that works" mumbled November. Her Joltik appeared and shot string shot around another Bastiodon while running around it, effectively packaging it in webs.

[Flagmauth]

After a few minutes of this (during which Serena's Salom and Teddiursa teamed up on the final Bastiodon to bring it down) the fossil Pokémon were contained.

"Glad thats over" November said

Jack strides up to the group and rather sarcasticly says, "glad I could help guys, say what is that strange pokemon that looks like a cat?" Jack pulls out the pokedex and scans it (if it is still out )

[Flagmauth]

Jack's Pokédex makes a ping! sound and recites the following:

"Salom, the Sorcery Pokémon. Once said to be used by practitioners of black magic, these Pokémon are only now starting to become accepted by society."

"Hmm, cool." Jack sees the still icy floor and for no reason sends out Quilava. "Quilava use flamethrower to melt the ice."

"I think I've seen what I wanted to see, and experienced more than I wanted. Anything you'd like to do Serena?" November inquired.

[Flagmauth]

"I suppose we could challenge the Gym Leader. That's why I was heading here originally, before I met up with you guys."

"I think that would be cool to watch" November said.

[A Blind Guy]

"If the battle goes as "great" as our trip here, I should just bring some ice skates."

Serena bristled. "That wasn't our fault!"

"Indeed" agreed November.

"It wasn't their fault. A local ghost type activated to sliding glass door and the Bastiodons thought that the other kids were invading there turf." The blind kid with the Riolu says as he sat under a tree spinning a pokeball on the tip of his left index finger. "Got a new friend in the chaos as a bonus." The teen's Riolu was leaning on the tree fast asleep.

" ok ok, I think my Pokemon could use some exercise while we're here, anyone wanna go for a battle?" Jack sends out both Pokemon.

[That wasn't directed at you, it's just that Sagan either didn't pay attention to the circumstances surrounding the Great Bastiodon Escape or his character doesn't really know what happened. Anyway, continue being a jerk character pls.]
