Louis for the first time looked over at the car. Sure enough, Nick was telling the truth. Louis helps Nick stand up "Let's get out of here."

A screech of tearing metal from the car as the zombie slammed her other arm into the door and it flew off the vehicle, smashing into a Camaro parked sideways across the road.

Whose car alarm promptly started blaring. Zombie cries sounded from up and down the road as indistinct shapes were seen clambering over vehicles. Meanwhile the clawed prom zombie (prombie?) ripped her way free from the car and charged at Nick, eyes blazing red in the darkness and wicked claws outstretched.

"Holy $#!@ man!" Ellis brought his rifle up and fired a burst at the zombie girl, which didn't seem to bother her that much.

Nick did what any normal scared guy would do if they had a gun he emptied the clip at the woman

As the zombie charged Nick could see quite clearly both his bullets and Ellis' impacting against its flesh...but instead of punching holes in it they merely bounced off, although not before ripping out a pocket of flesh.

By the time he was done processing that (and his clip had run out) the witch was practically on top of him. A swipe of her claws slammed into his flank and knocked him to the pavement; judging by the pain he could quite possibly have broken a rib or two. And she was still coming, slashing wildly at him as he lay there frantically rolling out of the way of claws that scraped up concrete with every impact.

Finally, at some point the zombie collapsed, with one final screech of fury. One of either Ellis' or Louis bullets must have hit her in the back of the neck; her spine was severed and the back half of her neck was carved away.

"What the HELL was that? How come we gotta deal with bulletproof zombie $#!@ now?" Ellis told the corpse, hauling it off Nick and offering the suited man a hand to get him back on his feet.

Nick took the hand and got up "Yah this is getting really f@#$ing stupid" he says reloading

The tentacle was ripped away by the bullet. "Okay, that thing's seriously gettin' annoyin'," Ellis said, getting up and dusting off his jeans. "I say we go in there guns loaded and give it the good news."

The tentacle whipped out again and grabbed Ellis by the ankle...he didn't drop his gun though.

For the first time they catch a glimpse of the tentacle zombie. It's a tall, gaunt figure with a tentacle stretching grotesquely from its mouth, emitting a constant cloud of greenish smoke. At the sight of the other Survivors it bites down hard on the tongue, dropping it to the ground and freeing Ellis as it turns and tries to hobble away.

Lois suggest heading into a more isolated region of Pennsylvania, hoping that perhaps there would be less infected and a greater chance of human survivors and thus settlements.
