Hey I'm starting this thread for people who Donny know how to do stuff so they can ask about it here and the other people can give then help with it.

Okay how do I post maps?

And luft where did you get those maps for C&C 3

Posting maps, depending on whether you're using a Google map or just an image you have two different ways. If you're using Google, you can post a link to the map. If it's an image you can link to it if it's big enough of just post it in the thread.

You should be able to now that I've disabled the "mobile site." The code for embedding images (leave out the asterisks) is:

[img*]imageurl.com[/img*]

I have no idea what to do I'm really not that good with tech stuff and I don't get notifications anymore so I don't know when someone has posted.

It may be a bit fiddly with an iPod. You might be better off just posting the link (in the OOC please) and letting people copy/paste if the site doesn't automatically hotlink it.

I would post it on the OOC of the new forum I just can't start it without being able to post new maps and make my own that's why I need luft to tell me how he got his maps.

He made his maps using Google Draw (I think?) and editing images he got off the internet. Originally he was using Wikipedia's maps, but I'm not sure if he is still using them.

I am using Google Drawing and then allowing people with a link to view them. If you want to I can edit maps for you if you tell me what you'd like to see.

That would be awesome I need a map of the 1000s if you could a world map and all the small unneeded nations can just be white so other people can claim them like nobody is there.

OK, I'll do that. Do you have a Google account? I can then share the document with you and give you editing privileges so that eventually you can edit the map(s) as well. Also do you want just Europe or one map of each continent?

Ummm just make one world map to make it easier for everyone else to look at and I have a gmail of that's what you mean?

It is. OK, the map will be done by this evening. Here are some maps to get us started until I create the map. I have included a Europe Map because I think most people would want to play a European country and the map is more accurate. Here are the links:
