Barbosa tried to use a maneuver to get out of Phil's saber reach but it only managed to get him on the floor

Octavion, having drawn his sword, runs out of his room and into the brig. He points his sword at Barbossa and says, "You cannot win, pirate!"

The first of the skiffs had arrived, raking the deck of the Revenge with Gatling fire and canister shot. Pirates were going down like a house of cards in a hurricane as a larger sloop approached, readying its boarding bridges.

Barbosa slashed at phil then ran off back to his ship. "CHANGE OF PLANS BOYS"

All of the pirates ran back to the revenge. It then removed the ropes and fired all of its after burners to get away from the ships firing its back cannons to anyone within range

The skiffs opened up with heavier weaponry - shells designed to punch through warship armor smashed the Revenge's engines and ripped most of its starboard armor off. The sloops fired off their boarder bridges and British marines charged across to the Revenge under covering fire from the skiffs.

Another sloop was boarding the Exegeiroma, though these British Marines had their weapons still slung across their backs. They began shouting in English for the airmen to form up for inspection - Octavion, Anastasia and Phil could understand them.

the crew follow orders and within a minute or so they are all standing at attention.

The British soldiers stand at attention as well, as an officer steps off the sloop onto the Greek ship's deck. "Any of you who speak English?"

The skiffs took some hits - a few of them had to break off, and one of them was destroyed in a single hit, but the Revenge was slowing and the British marines were decimating her crew. Soon Barbossa found himself facing the gun barrels and bayonets of no fewer than seven marines. "No funny business, paps, put your hands in the air and follow us real quiet."

Barbosa looks around "No one destroys my ship" He takes out his sword and thrusts it into the air. Suddenly ropes from all over the ship grabbed the invading soldiers and rapping all around them stopping all of there movements

All but one marine was caught completely off-guard by the attack. That one marine managed to sever the ropes heading for him, as the skiffs around the ship resumed their bombardment, blowing a huge hole in the center of the starboard side. A flamethrower burst to life and swept the deck, the balloon of the Revenge now leaking helium at a rapid pace and the ship beginning to nose down.

His airmen were preoccupied being dead at the moment. The remaining soldier swung at Barbossa with his sword, the blade catching in the pirate's wooden leg.

Barbosa went down swinging wildly at anyone near him

The collapse hauled the British marine over on top of the larger pirate, well inside the radius of Barbossa's sword-arm, fortunately. Swearing, the marine let go of his trapped sword and smashed his forehead into Barbossa's face, knocking him out briefly.

When he came to, he was on his knees with a bayonet in his back and handcuffs on his wrists, lined up with the airmen from the Exegeiroma aboard their ship. The Revenge was nowhere to be seen. In front of him was the British officer. "Pirate," his lip curled in disgust. "You speak English. Tell us why you attacked this ship in particular, when it was so well-guarded."
