"Come of Soldiers!" Axton yells running down the path

Troy, who had been behind cover, jumped out and follows Axon. When on the train, Troy starts glowing and a glowing circle about three meters in diameter cuts itself into the surrounding area with Troy in the center.

"Come on! I don't know how long I can keep this up!" Troy shouts to the remaining members not on the train.

Krieg flips up from his seat running at the loaders with his arms reaching forward.

"I LUST FOR YOUR BLOOD!"

He dives at the loaders, wrapping his arms around their torsos, before breaking both in half in a bear hug.

"Meaaaaaaat." he whispers, chuckling to himself.

"Its a safe zone, powers you up and weakens them!" Troy shouts as he ducks behind cover and loads his gun.

Zer0 charged ahead towards a pair of Hyperion engineers, sword prepared to deliver a killing blow. One of the engineers swung a metal fist at the ninja's head, only for it to pass straight through the hologram.

A single swipe of the katana later and both engineers were missing their heads, courtesy of Zer0, who had been standing behind them.

Behind them, however, a number of Loaders were rapidly approaching. Gaige, bringing up the rear, grinned when she saw this and raised her mechanical arm. "Sic 'em, babe!" The digistruct device within her arm poured out energy that materialized into an immense floating robotic torso with a single eye and massive claws. The new robot charged headlong into the fray, bifurcating Loaders as it went and keeping them away from the group's rear.

Oh, and there was the engine car. Time to confront somebody about this less-than-satisfactory job application experience?

just then a loader smashes through the wall of the train
maya first response is "no you don't" as a purple bubble engulfed the loader lifting it into the air. she then proceeds to shoot it with her maliwan smg. sending electric sparks upon impact, as the loader just had enough time to say "ERROR" before it fell in a heap of metal.

The door swung nearly off its hinges as Axton kicked it in - revealing a mannequin of Handsome Jack sitting in a chair. An ECHO recorder strapped to its chest activated as the chair turned around: "It's cute that y'all think you're the heroes of this little adventure, but you're not."

That ECHO recorder wasn't the only thing strapped to it either. Enough explosives to put a sizable dent in a planet were littered around the train car.

Everyone woke up dazed and, by the way they felt, half-dead. Unsurprising, given the explosion.

Axton and Troy had landed face-down in the snow outside the train car, which was lying on its side. Both of them had no serious injuries except for feeling like somebody had been beating them with a sledgehammer for a few months.

Krieg and Zer0 had stayed inside the car. While battered, they were generally in better shape, mostly just sore and in Krieg's case scraped up.

Salvador and Gaige had been thrown a good fifty feet behind the car and were pinned beneath wreckage that lay on Gaige's right arm and Sal's legs.

Maya had landed on the opposite side of the car from Axton and Troy, embedded headfirst in the snow up to her waist.

Troy groaned as he got up and grabbed his gun before using a strap attached to it to sling it over his back. "Anyone hurt? Everybody okay?" Troy shouts as he looks around, noticing Axton easily.

Troy nods before looking for the others. He noticed Gaige and Salvador pinned under wreckage.

"Axton, over there!" Troy says as he pointed to their pinned commrads.
