The bullets bounce off most of the Infected, save for several that hit its arms and "legs". It screeches, pulling its remaining talon out of Francis' seat.

After patching up the driver, Bill take a swing at the Infected which backs off, retreating to the back of the vehicle.

'It seems the limbs are the only way to hurt it."

Louis happily uses the reprieve to get back up, and reloads when neccessary, firing at the new special infected's "arms and legs."

Francis pulls the new weapon out from under the board. It's a Tactical Shotgun.

"come to daddy my sweet shotgun"

Underneath lies extra ammo, some pills, and some adrenaline.

The Infected breaks through the back window and takes a swing at Francis, missing, but scattering the supplies around the truck.

Bill responds by smashing it in the face with the side of his axe, sending the Infected flying off the back of the truck and onto the road. Within moments, it is far behind.

"BOOM-diah" Louis says, watching the strange infected fade away into the distance.

"What the hell was that, anyway?" Louis asks, as he calms down and starts picking up the scattered supplies.

After gathering the supplies, Francis pockets the extra shotgun ammo, puts away the auto, and pulls out his pistol and picks off common infected at his pleasing. Looking up, he notices a gun barrel over one of the openings the new infected made. He pokes his head up to see an M60. "awww hell yeah!" Francis says as he swings himself into the turret and preps the gun for battle.

Suddenly, there is a loud splat as a patch of spit hits the road ahead of the truck, but you realize it too late as you drive through it. The tires quickly melt away, as well as some of the wheel rims. The truck quickly starts to lose control from lack of grip and uneven wheels.

"This is going to Hell in a hand basket real fast!"
Bill buckles in and grabs hold of the interior of the truck.

"dammit!"screams Francis. He unbolts the HMG, throws it down into the truck, and follows it down. He follows Bill's action, strapping in while also securing as much loose equipment as possible.

"Remind me, Francis, how long were you in prison?" Louis asks, as he secures the supplies he picked up from all over the truck.

He makes sure his pistols are nice and loaded, a little nervously, and wishes that he had a more substantial weapon too.

He then jumps out before the truck completely spins out, landing in, and then quickly fleeing, the pool of acid in the road.

"Damn, that stings!" Louis says, wiping the acid on to the concrete around him. He looks for, and shoots at, the spitter which shot goo.

He fires at any nearby common infected, and looks for any handy way to repair the truck, as it is their best hope of getting to Disney Land, and safety.

(You know, I would be completely fine with this, except that you passed through the acid a bit ago, you wouldn't be getting into it now.)

The truck continues to lose control down the road, leaving Louis behind. Shortly after, Louis is attacked by a Smoker, pulling him farther from the road.

A bit ahead, the car finally loses control completely and slams into a hole in the road, flipping the car.

"I didn't sign up for this shit!"

"good thing I'm indestructible" says Francis as he takes the pills he found in the truck. He then walks towards the wreckage to hopefully find some more medical supplies and to see if the HMG survived. He is careful to watch for infected in his injured state.

Francis: Suddenly, you feel a sharp pain in your left leg. You look down to see a bunch of small bits of glass stuck in it.

Ellis: As you pull yourself out of the wreck somehow completely unharmed, you find Bill trying to pull himself out, and see he is pinned under a fair bit of the wreckage.

"Ugh... I think I'm goin' home in a box."
