Stark ended up taking the group to a room with a big long table, which he sat at the end of. Two more Avengers were present - Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanov, both of whom were wearing civilian clothes. This created an interesting contrast between the Avengers, all wearing civvies, and the X-Men, all wearing their armor.

Stark plowed right through Romanov's sentence. "Yeah, see, the T-bolts have Osborn's S.H.I.E.L.D. wannabes behind them. Big deal - we're The Avengers. We're kind of popular right now. We kick their teeth in on national television and then tell the media SHARA is a pile of bulls**t."

"And, technically, we'll still be breaking the law."

"No, Stark's right." Captain America finally managed to start talking before Tony could interrupt. "The law isn't always the final say on what's right or wrong. Too many people have pulled that; Hitler, Schmidt, Stalin, Pierce. Osborn's just one more name on that list."

He leaned back in his chair and folded his arms. "I say we take him down."

Cyclops was amazed at how much the avengers wanted to help "Thank you"

Kurt teleports next to Scot making him jump "HO-please don't do that kurt"

"I was just thinking, if we need all the help that we can get, why don't we find that Spiderman guy? I mean the guy went head to head against that songbird chick without much truble so why not?"

"Spider-Man is still unregistered, and with the amount of press coverage he gets he's bound to be high on the list of superhumans Osborn wants to take down. Since nobody's seen Superman since Metropolis got hit, they're probably moving on him next."

Spider-Man was then treated to the quinjets forming up and deploying their own guns.

Aimed at him.

Others were heading for nearby rooftops, dropping Sentinels in full gear onto the buildings. Spider-Man's chest gained a large collection of laser dots as the lead quinjet, bearing a circle with a lightning bold across it, hovered towards him. Norman Osborn's voice echoed from its PA system. "Spider-Man. In accordance with the Superhuman Administration and Registration Act, you are under arrest and will be taken into H.A.M.M.E.R. custody. Kneel and place your hands behind your head."

****Avengers Tower****

Banner, who had remained silent, turned away from the window. "I don't want to interrupt, but I think the Thunderbolts may have beaten us to it."

Cyclops looks out the window that banner was looking out of "Oh come on"

He then proceeded to to jump off the building and power dive to build momentum and swing away as fast as he could

Electro started to get really pissed when that happened and anyone near him could feel the electrical energy coming off of him. He waited for his orders
