Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
Just to let everyone respond to their power acquisition, I won't continue the story line until sometime tomorrow (Friday). I tried to come up with descent ways for your characters to experience their powers for the first time, so hopefully they were good.

Just letting you know: You can decide how well this meditation is working on your character or if they release the magic too quickly.

Quick question. How long do you guys want to do the "let's learn magic" type of Role-playing? I can shorten/ drag it out as long as you'd like...

Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
So I think to avoid getting bogged down too much with learning individual powers, we'll soon do a "let's skip a month" deal. In that time it is assumed that your characters train diligently and don't ever goof off. I'll then fill out some smaller powers under your character on the first page of this OOC. The idea is to save time, get into the plot, have characters who are actually capable of using their powers and allow me to send your characters on [deadly] missions .
We'll finish this training session off painstakingly - for that I apologize, but then at least we completed one training session. Those of you who are friends with me on Steam or able to contact me via PM (all of you) can place requests for smaller powers. Of course you aren't guaranteed to get them - especially if I don't see a connection to your domain. If you don't send me such a message, I'll go off the desired powers.
Unless someone has any complaints with this, I think that's a reasonable course of action.

Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
Alright, updated your powers on the first page of this OOC. For some of your domains it was kinda tricky coming up with starter powers. Destruction for instance - really not much in the way of versatility. But hopefully these powers are acceptable.
Your characters should be well on their way to attaining them after this practice sessions and certainly within a week of RP - time.

Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
on the one hand, I could turn sword man into a candle, on the other I'd probably burn down the whole shop.

Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
Yes you could. I think you two have multiple options:
1. Burn down the shop (aren't shops replaceable?)
2. Use light magic to blind them / try to escape or disable them
3. Use water magic for combat or to disable the goons
4. Use water magic to punch your way to the exit - at the risk of getting attacked
Of course there are other options, but those are off the top of my head.

Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
So, how exhausted is my character at this point?
Like could he try to pull the leader back with water, or should he help put the fire out?
I'm only asking this because there are sprinklers going off in the shop, so they could theoretically do the job by themselves. But is it big enough that additional help is needed to put it out?

Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
I'm assuming your characters got a little rest between now and the training. Don't worry I'll let you know if your character starts to get exhausted.
The fire hasn't spread out much yet, so the sprinklers likely can get the job done. But keep in mind you are in a room full of paper...

Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
I finally did create the village map. Hopefully without too many spelling errors this time.

Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
So you are all in Belgrade. Somehow I thought that Sarajevo was the capital of Serbia. Well, I looked on a map and gained some knowledge.
So to get to the village there are two paths from Belgrade. Due to flooding and such, you'll need to either do some creative driving (due to lack of roads) or walk.
1. Go north along the Donaube. In that case you come close to the Transylvanian region in Rumania, a reportedly dangerous region (in the Book of Balkan monsters). However, the terrain is also rather flat and thus easier to traverse.
2. Go south along the Donaube. This route has the potential to be hilly and mountainous (thus slower), but also doesn't come close to a dangerous region(s). Keep in mind stuff may still happen...
Also 2 posts back I shared the link for the village map in case you missed it.

Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
So I want to post but I'm confuse and ton't want to look stupid. What van, where are we driving and why?
Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
Van: The one our group rented.
Where we are driving: Following the van that's used by the men who kidnapped Emma.
Why: Based on the fact that Luft keeps underlining keys, I think he wants us to follow the van.

Re: Götterdämmerung OOC
Sirius got that right. Now I underline the keys, because it gives you the option to pursuit them, although they've got a bit of a head start. Otherwise you could try using the license plate to track down the location where Emma is (maybe) held. If your characters don't care enough about Emma (which I guess is fine), you could also just decide saving Emma is someone else's job.
Sorry if I haven't been clear thus far. Hope that helps.
