"Well then," Teren matched Archul's sardonic tone spitefully, "where do we start looking? If you know so much, why can't you find this out?"

Luke stands back a few feet from the kerfuffle, hand near his blaster pistol. Just in case anything goes down.

"Have you ever considered that maybe Yuri is famous in the Galactic Underworld? After all, he did not get his nickname 'Bloody Yuri' for skipping around and picking dandelions, now did he?" Archul retorts to Teren's remark.

"Besides," Atton says, "Very little is known about this crime-lord. What most people who know of him agree on is that he always owns a piece of criminal action, he never chickens out of a challenge or a fight, and he has absolutely NO tolerance for failure. He is one of the galaxy's top crime-lords."

[Flagmauth]

"Yeah, sure he's famous, but how many people know where to find him, hmm?" Teren turned to Bastila. "What exactly do you plan on doing with that thing anyway?" she asked, referring to the tapegun.

"Perhaps one of my former costumers may know something" the Jawa signals "Although that could get a little expensive and we [gesturing at the Wookie] don't have much money"

"I won't fall for any of your tricks." Lilith says to the Jawa. "You will cooperate with us."

(It's gotten lost in the story now and that's fine, but I must say, Shayal WHISPERED to Teren so that no one else would hear. Force sound dampening and all, if need be.)

Now it is Horatio's turn to stand.

"Calm youself, good lady, if anyone is blameless in this affair, it is you, our young blonde friend, and this honorable merchant." He says to Lillith, before turning to address the Jawa.

"Neither my compatriot nor I are rich either, but our friend Archul is a bounty hunter and his friend Atton is a smuggler and so they might have some spare cash laying around. If not, although it would be hard, Shayal might be able to tap some of her family connections. And if we can make this mission of importance to the Rebellion, I might try to convince the Jedi council or the Rebel Commanders of our need for funds."

[Flagmauth]

Arrbacca bellowed his disapproval at having been left out of blamelessness.

Teren folded her arms and looked disapproving as well, though for a different reason. "Why should we involve the Rebellion? This whole thing concerns the death of an Imperial officer - my father, in case you'd all forgotten. What the hell could they possibly do to help that the Empire couldn't do a million times better and faster, and furthermore, why would they want to?"

"This lady does make a good point. You Rebels don't need to get involved. This concerns the Empire. Not you." Lilith says, surprised to see Teren making any sense.

[Sirius Lupin]

(PW, Atton is a smuggler. And apologies for the post where I said the three overheard Shayal talking to Teren. I didn't know she was whispering.)

Atton, suspicious of Teren's sudden change from enemy to apparent ally, decides he must keep a closer eye on her. Archul and Bastila think the same.

"How do you find Yuri, you ask?" Archul says. "The answer is you don't find him- he finds you."

"Lilith, come with us." Captain Scarlett says, motioning to two guards behind her and walked out of the interrogation room to go to another interrogation room. He stops when he reaches the Sergeant and whispers, "Keep the situation here under control. Apparently, Cadet Lilith is an Imperial sympathizer and may know about the Pro-Imperial Terrorists who are attacking Theed."

The Sergeant nods again and Captain Scarlett and the two guards escort Lilith to another interrogation room. The guards take Lilith's gun before leaving the room, shutting it. Captain Scarlett looks at Lilith and says, "Do you have any connections to the terrorists around Naboo?"

(Ah, my bad; I'll edit that. As to the whispering; it's all good, they would no doubt be suspicious at the very least.)

Horatio bows to the good wookie, and smiles, "My apologies, my fellow furred friend, you, also, are blameless. As are the good guards here."

He then turns to address Teren. "The answers to your questions are simple."

"As to why we should involve the Rebels, Why not? I would think as an Imperial Officer, you would be more than happy to direct Rebel money toward what you view as an Imperial cause. They have money, and we need it, and what's more, I consider them a last resort anyway, because the harder part will be getting them to agree to help us. But I believe that can be done if necessary; if your father was as good a man as you say he was, which I'm inclined to believe, then his loss will be mourned by honorable Rebel fighters as well."

"As to why NOT to involve the Empire, if your father's subordinate was at all involved, or even just wants to secure his position, he might shoot first, and ask questions later, killing us all. If you can find a way to discretely contact connections within the Empire you know well and can trust with your life, I would say do so, but they might kill us anyway, and at the moment, we're all that's helping find Yuri."

"Archul, if we need Yuri to find us, how do you suppose we could make Yuri find us quicker? And do you believe our merchant friend could be of help in this regard?"

[Flagmauth]

Teren considered Horatio's arguments for a moment before she briefly inclined her head in his direction, indicating rather grudgingly that he had a point. "But if the Rebels are somehow involved, which is extremely likely, who's to say that they won't just shoot us on sight?" To Atton, she said, "So we make ourselves enough of a nuisance to him that he seeks us out? That just seems like a great way to get us killed, although I really shouldn't expect anything better from someone with your abysmal intelligence."

[Sirius Lupin]

"The only time he ever seeks people out is when he needs a job done discreetly or you have a bounty on your head." Archul says.

The Sergeant puts a hand next to his ear and listens to his search squad give their report. "All right, yes. Thank you."

He looks at the party and says, "The Search Team has just finished searching your ship. They concluded that everyone here is not with the Terrorists- with the possible exception of Cadet Lilith- and that you're all free to go. We've arranged two apartments for you to use while you stay here. Just stay out of trouble."

He escorts the party out of the police station to an apartment complex about 5 blocks away. Archul, Bastila, Atton, T3, Shayal, the Jawa Trader got the one on the right, while the rest of the party got the one on the left.

Before they go into their assigned apartments, Atton pulls Horatio aside and asks him to keep an eye on Teren and make sure Teren stays out of trouble.

Teren frowned at the apartment. She really didn't want to spend any more time with these people than was absolutely necessary, but on the other hand she really didn't have anywhere else to go for the moment. She turned to Bastila. "Give me back my tapegun."

Being off duty, Luke decides to follow the party.

"I have nothing to do with the terrorist." Lilith calmly says.

After having completed her interrogation Lilith is also off duty. She decides to follow Luke, who seems suspicious sneaking around.

Hearing something, Teren decided abruptly not to wait for Bastila to respond and grabbed the tapegun out of her hand. Whirling, she aimed quickly and fired a strip of tape at...

Teren, who had lowered the tapegun, turned and pointed it at the source of the buzzing on reflex.

There is another buzzing, followed by a shout outside the door. "Cadet Lilith! You have not completed your session. Captain Scarlett has more questions to ask you."
