Octavion takes the pouch of money and the two keys and- conveniently finding a pair of handcuffs nearby- places them on the guard and shoves the guard into the now empty cell, slamming the door shut and locking it. He then turns to Malachai and says, "Shall we proceed?"

Octavion turns to Dezenn and takes out his knife and cuts the ropes on her wrists.

"Anytime." Octavion replies.

Suddenly, about six more guards show up. "Look out, they're escaping!" The one in the front of the group shouts.

Octavion sighs in annoyance and flourishes his sword. He then charges the guards, taking on the the head guard.

The guard ducks. Octavion takes a nearby shield off the wall and uses it to defend himself against any retaliation the guards might throw back.

Octavion kicks the spear (There, happy?) over to his companions. "I can't fight off these guards all by myself!" Octavion shouts.

"Oh no..." Malachai murmurs, before moving closer to the battle.

(Rolling once for each remaining guard - there are four if I understand correctly - and then once for Octavian.)

(My bad; treat these five as for the guards. I'll roll again for Octavian. And since Dezenn isn't actively participating in the battle, I would assume she isn't close enough to be affected. If she is, correct me.)

Three of the guards kill themselves, by the usual means.

[That depends on the effective radius of Malachai's curse, TBH. If it's what I think it is (roughly ten-fifteen feet) it would affect Dezenn.]
