Unfortunately, Waren's Pokedex is also unable to identify the odd Pokemon.

The "moonblast" hits Servine, sending it flying. Meanwhile, the Pokemon is limping, trying to stay up.

Jolt fell after see the shadow Pokemon slide under him.

"Hold on! Hold on, stop attacking!" Jolt screams as he slowly stands up, his left leg shoots pain from wher the shadow punch hit. "Hey, listen. I just want to talk to you. Talk that's all." Jolt says to the Shadow Pokemon as his Luxio watches the Pokemon, ready to translate to his master.

1. How exactly is this supposed to work? I'm not quite sure I understand how your Luxio is supposed to help you.

2. How do you want me to do the "talking"? Speech, with translation below it?
