They are independent, from the communist countries, because they have no reason to support communism, and they would apparently not tolerate help from anyone, when they can stand on their own two feet. At least, if your line of approach holds true.

[Where you're ignoring key points. The reason for them supporting Communism and not Brazil is because when they tried to break away from Brazil the Communists gave them extensive aid in doing so. This being like the help America got from France in our war for independence, they were grateful for it, and the French Communist Party of course set up a gov't that associated closely with other Communists - international solidarity of the proletariat or something to that effect. And further, you're ignoring that using your military to attack/invade/rebel against France is ramming your reputation with the French further down the crapper each time.]

(And you think its a completely different situation than the one you compare it to, where good old G. Washington pulled the country's ass out of the alliance with the french ASAP, because neutrality would allow for the country to play all sides against each other? Your comparison is apt, but you're purposefully ignoring the ending.

I'll give you the history of this whole thing with no bias, say, tomorrow (later today), and then you can explain that, rather than debate me.)

[This being different in that the Communists immediately worked to solidify relations with the Communist bloc, because of the solidarity of the proletariat or something or other, like I said. The people approved of this because they got Russian and German help in achieving independence and because they feared Brazil would try to topple their government. Which has since been attempted.]

Ireland also sees the area where the tides converge in the pacific. It is home to an Island made out of Trash. Ireland is Sickened by this. They begin to Scan the night sky for another earth like world to colonize.

The ICC's nations as a whole (besides Korea where a government crisis occurs) ignore this - Old Indian clean technology (hydrogen fuel cells, nuclear fusion, and large-scale recycling) have almost entirely phased out fossil fuels except in some Middle Eastern nations (unless Brazil and America are stupider than I give credit for, but I assume you guys made the switch with the rest of the world).

The French, continuing in their governmental crisis, call on the Soviet Union for help. Belousov, striving to live up to the propaganda machine that proclaims his benevolence, agrees to supply troops. The Red Army deploys counterinsurgent forces in north and east France, where the Communists maintain their strongest positions, and quickly root out much of the resistance there. After that, the French crisis is put on hold as masses of Soviet, German and Eastern European troops prepare to launch an invasion from both northern France and Denmark.

Britain booby-traps the Chunnel, and calls on its own forces. The Royal Navy engages the Red Navy and German Navy off the coast of Scotland in a massive battle.

American forces move into Britian and set up defensive positions, telling the Reds to end their conquest at the channel and the US will force the British to halt their aggression. If Britain is invaded, the US will defend their ally.

Ireland would like to point out something to the world. The Reaction of Hydrogen and Oxygen is a Combustion reaction. The Byproducts of which are Two of the Worst Green house gasses known to mankind. Carbon Dioxide and Dihydrogen monoxide.

Ireland also points out that the precious metals you rely on are also decreasing and are becoming harder to find as you are launching more of them into space. Ireland also continues to point out. Just because you no longer burn oil you still need it for lubrication and other needs like plastics. Just because you use alternate power doesn't mean that you have stopped the use of oil.
