---> Peace Conference is being held in Lisbon. However it seems that countries are negotiating one on one with France. So far Russia and Aztlan have made peace with France.

Recent Events:

Japan discovered Australia, Russia Hawaii and Britain discovered New Zealand. The Steam roller was invented in Britain.
Germany recently took over Poland and is occupying the Netherlands.
Aztlan got from a peace deal with France New Orleans and Central America.
Russia bought the Northwest Territories.
Spain’s princess plans to marry her way into the German royalty. May the marriage be a happy one.
King John IV of Portugal died.
Economic crisis in western Europe. Heavily affected are Britain, France and Spain.

Player Countries:

Austro-Italian Empire [ ]
Military: Strong land army , the second largest army fielded in Europe. It is well equipped, has good commanders. After annexing Italy the Austrian navy has become the largest in the Mediterranean after the Ottoman navy, but better trained.
Economy: The Austrians have their main industrial district around Vienna and northern Italy. Austria is a little behind in industrialization compared to the other European countries but it has a lot of natural resources to draw on and it can create other products as well. Financially the Austrians are sound though the recent war is putting a little strain on the royal treasury.
Politics: Austria encompasses a multicultural area. For one thing after annexing Italy there are two dominant peoples: The Italians and the Austrians. Both of those cultures don’t necessarily like each other so Austria’s challenge is clear: Unite the two peoples.
Territories:
Austrian Africa: A few forts along the African coastline, since the Europeans aren’t too resistant to the diseases swarmin in the African interior.
Austrian Indonesia: Austrian colonial possession which it took from Spain. It grows quite a bit of raw materials that are processed in the Austrian factories.

Aztlan [Mycro]
Millitary: Aztlan never needed a big land land army and thus it isn’t too large. Its navy however after dealing with pirates is America’s largest and essentially only navy.
Economy: Industrial north that is hiring quite the number of workers from Russia and Poland. The south is a rural region that remains “uncivilized”. There is a clear economic divide between north and south.
Politics: Aztlan is a “democracy”, in which all citizens regardless of race can participate. Natives and whites dominate the political landscape it seems.

Britain [Gaara]:
Military: Britain boasts the world’s largest and strongest navy. Its navy is second to none. The army is the fourth largest.
Economy: See the black smoke on the map? Britain is essentially an industrialized island. Britain produces weapons and textiles allowing a strong capitalistic style economy to exist. Recent wars however have depleted the royal treasury.
Politics:
Territories
Anva: This island is one of Britains raw material source. Need sugar? Anva has it.
British Africa: A few forts along the African coastline, since the Europeans aren’t too resistant to the diseases swarmin in the African interior.
British South America: British South America is a unique colony considering that it is industrialized and has its own army and navy as well as trade deals. The British are allowed to mine for natural resources [most likely silve] in BSA. British South America is really just a name for a essentially independent state.
Burma: The British Thailandish territories, one of the least settled parts [by British colonists] of the British Empire. Like Anva it produces quite the selection of raw materials.
Hudson Bay Territory: Largely uninhabited territory owned by the British. Explorers there like to trap for furs and to drink a lot of beer.
Thirteen Colonies: The British American colonies are proud “Englishmen” who enjoy their freedom and self-rule. They are very loyal to the British crown and because they pay next to no taxes are also wealthy. The majority of the worlds timber is produced in North America and Russia and the Americans produce the most. The colonies do have problems with the neighboring Iroquois Confederacy next door often causing skirmishes.

Germany [Frenchie]
Military: Largest and best equipped land army in Europe. Navally the Germans are behind their European counterparts. Enough at least to defend their shores.
Economy: Strong, powerful economy. Centrally located allowing for a lot of trade routes.
Politics: The German chancellor (???) will be marrying the Spanish princess, perhaps forging a strong bond between the two nations
Territories
German Africa: A few forts along the African coastline, since the Europeans aren’t too resistant to the diseases swarmin in the African interior.
German China: The region around Hong Kong has quite a lot of people living there and of course is a monopoly for German companies.
Poland: Germany “saved” the Poles from deep financial crap, by annexing the country and offering jobs as well as employment opportunities. To keep the Poles from revolting Germany needs to prove to the Poles that they need the Germans.

Iceland [Scotsmen]
Military: Has quite a large navy for such a small country. Doesn’t have much in the way of military troops.
Economy: Stable economy.
Politics: The Icelandic King (?) is also the governour of Scotland

Ottoman Empire [Naruto]
Military: The Ottoman army is large, but needs to be distributed to keep their multi-cultural empire together. The Ottomans so far have done a good job of keeping their different ethnic groups together.
Economy: Reasonably good economy. Middle East is very profitable because it forms a continental crossroad. Turkey is industrialized, but otherwise there is no industrialization throughout the rest of the empire.
Politics: The Ottoman Empire is ruled by a Sultan whose primary challenge is to keep a large empire together. During the war Austria basically took the Balkan region and is occupying it while negotiations are going on.

Russia [Sirius]
Military: Large military. Reasonably sized navy.
Economy: High unemployment is still in Russia, but the people are optimistic with their new territories (settling requires people...) and the government’s focus on creating jobs.
Politics: Nothing of note.
Territories
Hawaii: This is Russia’s newest possession. A nice place to grow sugar and of course is nice and strategic. The natives don’t like the Russians, but then again spears vs. guns don’t work so well.
Northwest Territory: The Alaskan/Yukon portion of the NW Territory is mostly populated by Russians while the southern portion is settled by Swedes who don’t necessarily want more Russians moving into their regions.

The Queen of Britain heard a rumor there was a Azlan revolt starting and thought it would be a great time to get Allies into mexico to stop spain from getting to much control of the new world so he would like to send some native spys into mexico and find out if these rumors are true and if they are to see if they would be in need of help in exchange for stoping spain in getting more control of mexico.

The spies arrive in Mexico and are gathering info.

Meanwhile Russia, Denmark and Poland declare war on Sweden, starting the Great Northern War. To start the war, the Danish navy is outmaneuvered by Sweden and is soundly crushed. The Swedish empire is focusing its troops on Russia's border. Russian and Polish troops are meanwhile torching down the Baltic State area (modern day Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia).

Sweden asks for assistance from Britain.

Britain gets info that sweden is being attack and has fought off Denmark for now, Queen Anne Stuart sends a messenger to her allies in Sweden to tell them that they are sending troops to halt Denmark from making anymore attacks so it can focus on Russia. Queen anne also sends messengers to Germany to help sweden in fighting off the polish and to make athem are allies. She also sends a warning message to polands saying to stop their attacks on Sweden or Britian will consider it an act of war as if they attack us themselves.

Poland and Denmark warn Britain to back off from Denmark.

Britain sends scouts to land on Denmark and see the strength of Danish army before attacking.
Also sends messages to Norway, Finland, Germany, and Sweden to see if they would start the NORTHERN EUROPEN ALLIES as the N.E.A. and to help them fight off Poland.

The Aztec rebels attack Mexico City in force, rising up from among the populace to strike at the limited Spanish garrison.

British scouts find that the Danes still have the brunt of their navy, a good portion in Aebletoft (west-Jutland). The Danes are managing to fight off the Swedish navy, despite early set-backs.

Seeing that Danish-Norway doesn't have many soldiers, Sweden's first army starts heading toward Oslo, meeting little resistance.

The second regiment of the Swedish army is moving through the Baltic states to kick out the Russians and Poles. The Russian armies encountered are literally executed and the Polish troops fared only a little better (getting massacred instead). Though the Swedish army is obviously holding the upper hand with minimal loss, the little loss is worth a lot to an efficient yet small army.

The Polish navy meanwhile alongside the Danish navy is giving Sweden a hard time in the Baltic.

Sweden thinks it is a good idea to ally itself for Britain, calling for the Brits to help them.

Prussia seems to be looking closely at the initial phases of war, waiting for the opportune moment...

Mexico City is quickly taken by rebels, save for the former Spanish headquarters manned with gunmen threatening to fight for their lives.

12000 soldiers and 100 cannons land on the Danish beaches all armed and ready. They make there way to the Danish capital as the 600 ships that dropped them off make there way to the Baltic to help the swedes.Britain also asks help from Prussia with the war. Queen anne also asks to meet with the leaders from the new world colonies so they can make some changes.

The rebels offer the Spaniards amnesty for their actions if they come out and fight for the rebellion, citing a long list of injustices by the Spanish Inquisition against the native Aztecs as well as Spain's failing rule over her New World holdings. It's time to take matters into their own more capable hands, they say. If the soldiers refuse the rebels and their popular support burn the garrison down around their ears and have the survivors hanged.

The Danes are preparing Aarhus as their city to fend off the Brits, reinforcing it as best as they can. A small Prussian army joins up with the British army. Prussia has joined the British and Swedish in the Great Northern war.

The Swedish army in Danish-Norway has captured Oslo and therefore basically Norway. Sweden is already replacing Danish and Norwegian officials in favor of Swedish ones. The Norwegians are angry being occupied by their southern neighbor.

The Poles and Russians manage to halt the advance of the Swedish army in the Baltic states (temporally) with heavy casualties on the Polish and Russian side.

Navally, the Swedish and British Navy is able to confront the Polish and Danish navy, but it looks like it will take a while for the Danes/Poles are fighting defensively and close to their shores.

The Spanish king dies. France and Austria both claim the spanish throne, both having a valid claim. France and Austria declare war on each other, to see who the successor will be.

Most of the Spanish officers come out of the building. The last few proudly claim to defend the Spanish Empire.

At the Spanish Empire HQ, Cuba, Francis Alvidrez decides to pull troops in the Spanish America's together to crush the rebellion. In doing so he hopes to gain wealth, power, and fame from wither Austria or France (whomever will be the one to set their king on Spain's throne). Troops start to trickle into Veracruz.

The garrison is burned to flush out the remaining loyalists; any caught are hung from the rafters to much rejoicing. Mexico City is rechristened Tenochtitlan and the rebels take what they can from defeated Spaniards, moving on into the countryside.

The British army start firing on the Danish fort with all its cannons and digging trenches close to the walls so they can move there cannons closer.
Britis also send a diplomat to the Rebals to see if they would wont some help with starting a new empire.

Spanish plantation owners are already fleeing south, having heard about the rebellion and the submission of the Spanish garrison. A small army of trained soldiers and recruits are forming in Veracruz.

The people around Technochtilan welcome the Aztlan rebellion, ready to throw off the Spanish yoke. The slaves of plantations also hope that Aztlan will benefit them, by granting their freedom.

Prussian soldiers start to occupy Schleswig and Holstein, claiming it is rightfully Prussian land. That said, the brunt of Prussia's force is either in Kolding (South of Aarhus) or Aarhus helping the British. Prussia and Poland also have a stalemate along their border. A very bloody stalemate.

The Danes are waiting for the British/ Prussians to make their move.

The British move closer and closer to the wall firing inside the fort now hoping to kill as many of the Danish as possible. And they are still waiting for the Aztlen rebels.

The Danes manage to hold off the British/ Prussians, but the walls are now battered by the British and Prussian cannons.

The Aztecs signify that it would be very helpful if the British could send some officers to help drill their army; what the rebels lack in discipline they make up for with courage and numbers, but that may not be enough.

Britian sends some of its best Army commanders and a few guns for them to be tought how to use.

In a village outside of Technochtitlan, a Spanish troop is met by resistance. The troop then proceeds to shoot the villagers and burn the village. First reports are arriving in Technochtitlan.

The Prussian's suggest to the British that cutting off Aarhus from supplies would be the best way to go whilst avoiding casualties. What it does require is that the Prussian and British navy block any ships coming to Aarhus and supplying it with food. Prussia suggest that by getting the armies around Aarhus to attack (to distract the Danish cannons) while the British/Prussian navy take out the Danish navy will allow the allies to hold the naval advantage.

The Spanish capture the British ship after being tipped off by an underpaid crew member. The ship was captured off of Florida's coast and the Spanish claimed the right to search the ship and found the British generals. The Generals are being brought in irons to Spain to be tried for "disturbing the peace and balance of the Spanish Empire."

Spain also sends an angry message to Britain demanding that they stop any more attempts to aid the Aztlan revolution.

The Swedish and British navy manage to get a splendid victory over the Danish navy near Copenhagen, leaving the capital vulnerable to naval bombardment.

Britian moves its navy in to attack the fort from sea. About 10 More ships disguised as merchant sailers that are carrying guns and more people to train the Rebals set out. Britian also clams more of west Africa to control and Queen anne also asks the 13 colonies to start milita groups and build forts to help keep the french and spanish from getting any ideas and to ask the natives for peace terms.

The Danish capital is bombarded by British and Swedish ships. The Danes, having no ships are desperately trying to keep the navy away. Copenhagen looks like it is on its last legs...

In anticipation that Denmark is going to surrender soon, Sweden asks British and Prussian diplomats to come forth and discuss peace terms (or more accurately what spoils go to what nation).

British explorers land in modern day Senegal and claim the land for the crown. In addition, the Scottish parliament joins the British parliament forming the UK (Britain controlled Scotland already, but it took a while for the Scotts to accept British rule), despite protests in Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

In the 13 colonies, the Iriqoi ask the British to accept the Iriqoi Confederacy as a sovereign nation, meaning that Britain isn't going to expand south of lake Erie. In return the Iriqoi will trade and help protect the colonies.

France also starts the Louisiana settlement project, encouraging "surplus" population to settle in the new world. France hopes to get its own cotton and tobacco industry without being too dependent on Britain and Spain.

The rebels lie in ambush. An alleged ally of the Spaniards lets them enter the city, where they encounter little resistance...until the rebels rise up from hidden locations and decimate the troops with musketfire and swords.

The ambush worked quite well. The troop felt safe walking into the city, but their safety was misplaced. The ambush managed to create quite the confusion in the troop itself. There were of course rebel casualties (after all the soldiers do have experience), but the troop is defeated.

The rebels gained horses and guns through the ambush.

Britian asks that Sweden takes Norway and leave Denmark for Britian and Prussia and also asks that if Denmark does fall that we give it back in exchange for there land in Africa and hold them accountable to pay for war efforts and that all the money for the war efforts should be split among them evenly and the land in Africa be split between Britian and Prussia.


Also Britian is backing fance for the throne in exchange for land in the new world.


Britian also tells the Iriqois that Britian would like more land in the new world but will not take much more then we will accept there agreement.
