Ralof and Hadvar look back to group with angry looks.

"Will you lot shut up already!" they yell, before a wolf leaps on Thom and another on Do'krin.

Do'krin smiles. Finally some entertainment. Do'krin charges at the wolf, his dual swords ready to shave the wolf.

Inari decides to charge the wolf that attacked Thorn.

Ilyssa let an arrow loose at the nearest wolf (the one attacking Thom) while it was distracted.

Four more wolves stand on rocks above the group, growling at them, while the two below snap at the group, one of the with a crush leg and and arrow in it. Hadvar and Ralof, weapons drawn, brace for the wolves.

Do'krin too goes after the same wolf.

Ilyssa released the arrow, backpedaling a few steps off the path to put most of the large Nords and bloodthirsty Khajiit between herself and the wolves. She had to admit this was a fair bit better than when she'd traveled across High Rock and Cyrodiil by herself, having other people out there to draw attention away was turning out to work quite well.

Ilyssa decided that wolves in Skyrim must all be mentally defective. She knew a bit about wolves (she wouldn't have survived the trip from Daggerfall if she hadn't learned quickly) and they liked to outnumber their opponents. It didn't make that much sense to her that a group of wolves would attack a large and armed group, but perhaps they were desperate. They were certainly thinner than the wolves she'd seen elsewhere.

Suddenly, a louder growl emits from next to the road. Hadvar and Ralof pause from fighting a wolf to glance over, seeing a larger, light grey wolf. It lets out a snarl, slowly approaching them.

Brilliant. Ilyssa drew another arrow from her quiver and launched it at the larger wolf, since it was uncomfortably close to her.

The larger wolf clamps its jaw onto Do'krin's weapon, shoving him off-balance into Thom. It then get stabbed in the midsection by Ilyssa's arrow. Licking at the slight wounds in its mouth, it slowly walks onto the road, eyes on the archer. Hadvar and Ralof attempt to attack the larger wolf, but are bitten into by the wolves they were fighting, drawing them away.

Oh crap. That wasn't good. Ilyssa, drawing another arrow as she moved, backed off, casting a quick glance to the side to see if one of the other wolves was going to blindside her while her attention was on the alpha. She drew the bowstring back and fired at the wolf again...

The wolf shifts, the arrow slashing the side of its face and flying past Thom. Ducking under Thom's arms, the wolf clamps onto Thom's leg, attempting to trip him forward.

Ilyssa hesitated a moment before taking the next shot, wary of the possibility of hitting Thom with the arrow, but then she fired it right as the Nord lurched forward...

With a wolf bitting his leg, Thom lost his balance and fell forward onto the ground
