Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
"How do they do that?" Seeing the look she got from Bzothan, she scowled at the hulking elf. "I mean, obviously it's magic, but how do you choose one?"
Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
Hadvar looks at Illysa. "Well you-"
"You just choose one." Ralof finishes. getting an annoyed glare from Hadvar.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
Bzothan held out a hand towards the Warrior Stone, causing a brief spark of magic to jump betweem his palm and the hole in the carved obelisk.
Ilyssa, watching this, turned back to the Thief Stone and did the same.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
Ralof looks over at Bzothan. "Ah the warrior stone, I knew you would pick the best choice."
Hadvar sees Ilyssa's choice. "Don't cause any trouble in Skyrim, or I'll haul you into the dungeon myself."

Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
Ilyssa looked affronted. "Who, me? Why in Oblivion would I cause any trouble, I've had more than my fair share of it already!"
Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
"Then why did you choose the thief stone?" Hadvar asks.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
"Do I look like I'll get anything out of the Warrior Stone? And I don't care for magic, really. I don't see any Seamstress Stone, so unless you could direct me to one..." She left the sentence unfinished, since she'd made her point.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
"Well there are 10 other stones you can choose from." Ralof says.

"Okay then, I'll pick one of them when I find them then." Ilyssa said crossly, folding her arms.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
"Good luck finding them, they are everywhere and there is no pattern to their location." Hadvar puts in.
Vaninir meanwhile chooses the warrior stone.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
Ilyssa put a hand to her forehead. "Can we please change the subject and stop obsessing over which Guardian Stone I chose? Weren't we heading somewhere?"
"Riverwood." Bzothan said, opening the door and heading out.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
Vaninir walks along the road to where he thought riverwood was.
"Riverwood is just down the road, my sister works at the mill. She can get us some supplies." Ralof puts in.

"Great. Supplies. Does she have anything I could wear that fits me and doesn't make me look like an Imperial soldier?"

Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
By the time Thom chooses his stone, the group is halfway down the path. They approach what looks like an archway that holds a walkway above it. behind the arch, stood a few small buildings, the 1st one on the left was a blacksmith's forge, across the road from said forge was someone's house. the buildings on the right contain an inn, and and a shop.
"Riverwood I presume?" Vaninir asks.
"Yes, This is Riverwood, my sister owns the lumber mill down the road." Â Ralof says.
"No, my uncle owns forge and can get us weapons." Hadvar argues.

"Does your uncle have a shortbow?"
Bzothan didn't bother saying anything so much as walking down the road towards the blacksmith.

"I'm sure he has one in stock." Hadvar says, heading to the forge.

Hadvar then looks around, noticing that much has changed since they had last been in Riverwood. There were guards building walls and what seemed to be towers around the town.
"Those shields..." Ralof mutters, "they're from Whiterun."
"But why...," Hadvar begins to say before being pulled into a hug by the blacksmith.
"Hadvar, thank the gods you are alive!" he cries, squeezing Hadvar tightly.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
Bzothan was casting a critical eye around the smith's shop, muttering darkly to himself. "...no Dwarven ingots...typical..."
Ilyssa shuffled her feet uncomfortably while Hadvar and Alvor reacquainted themselves.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V.5: Skyrim
Ilyssa, since everyone else was doing stuff, looked about for a shortbow. As she did so, she bumped gently against Do'krin. "Sorry," she muttered, moving quickly away from the Khajiit.
