[Flagmauth]

Citizen V's V-Wing spun around before it slammed into the ground hard, causing CV to fall off of it onto his back with a grunt of surprise and pain. A Sentinel, rifle at his shoulder, suddenly found that he was aiming an ICER round at Radioactive Man. It didn't penetrate the hazmat suit, but the impact hit him like a punch in the head and he dropped to his knees, freeing Logan to regenerate.

Looking out over what had now become a battlefield, Logan saw Sentinels' rifles and other equipment torn from their hands and lifted into the air, where a solitary, caped figure was suspended in a vaguely Messianic pose.

[Helsing]

"Your kidding me" logan says getting up

[Flagmauth]

The figure turned and yep, it was. Erik Lensherr, codenamed Magneto by S.H.I.E.L.D., was hovering over the battlefield, having relieved the Sentinels of their weapons and equipment. "Your oppression ends here, Osborn." he boomed, balling a hand into a fist and crushing the weapons well beyond repair.

"Sir, what do we do?" Songbird, who had come up next to CV, asked. Osborn, extricating himself from the smashed V-Wing, was clambering to his feet as he responded: "Take to the air and knock him down. If we can get Nano, Red Hulk and Radioactive Man on him, then - OOFH!" Citizen V had trouble recovering from that, as Songbird had just kicked him in the spine. Even as he turned, she grabbed him around the neck and twisted, throwing him violently over her shoulder and into the V-Wing with a clang, knocking him out.

Turning, "Songbird" held out a hand to Logan. "Long time no see, Logan." she said, as her skin shimmered and turned blue, her hair darkening to russet and becoming curlier.

[Helsing]

Logan takes the hand and gets up "Mystique, its been far to long. I don't recognize your scent anymore"

[Flagmauth]

Mystique gave him a half-smile. "Referring to each other by our codenames, are we?"

"In that case, Mystique and Wolverine, you're both under arrest." Behind them was the real Songbird. "Assaulting a federal officer, impersonating another federal officer, resisting arrest...tsk tsk tsk. Quite the record, for the past five minutes alone." A sonic mace the size of a Volkswagen flew at the two of them. Mystique dove out of the way, but the construct caught her all the same, hurling her into the side of a building. Blood beaded on her forehead; she was unconscious.

[Helsing]

Logan managed to dive out of the way. Once he got his footing he turned to face Songbird "You really piss me off"

[Flagmauth]

"Am I supposed to give a damn?" Another sonic mace aimed at his face.

[Helsing]

Wolverine tries to jump out of the way but the mace was to fast and he gets hit. The impact sends him flying into the remains of the school

[Flagmauth]

Songbird promptly chained him to the ground with more constructs. "I'll be back after I deal with your friend with the Jesus complex." she told him, brilliant pink wings sprouting from her back.

[Helsing]

Wolverine tries to get up but the constructs kept him down "Hahaha good luck"

[Flagmauth]

Songbird ignored that, taking to the air and rapidly gaining altitude on Magneto, who was in the process of slaughtering Sentinels with their own equipment. Abruptly, she launched a flurry of sonic blades at Magneto. One of them caught him in the back...it drew blood, but his armored suit kept it from bisecting him.

[Helsing]

"You have made a great mistake" Magneto thrust his hands towards the Armored cars making them fly into the air and at songbird

[Flagmauth]

Songbird held out her own hands, a curved pink shield shimmering into being in front of her. The armored cars slammed into it, causing her to wince slightly, but the shield held. "Stand down, Lensherr. You can't win."

Behind Magneto, Atlas walked towards him, growing rapidly to the point where he would be able to swat Magneto out of the air.

[Helsing]

Magneto sees Atlas grow and then he turns to Songbird "Oh I can't win you say" He raises his hands "If you want to fight a man that controls all metal. It would be smart to not have any on your person" and with that he released his power

Songbird fell to the ground hard, her own suit pinning her to the ground. CV's V-wing morphed around him pining him to the wall with his own sword at his throat. Nano slammed into red hulk like a car on a highway. Any extra metal was made into razer sharp spikes pointed at Atlas

Once that was done Magneto flew over to songbird "Where is Charles?"

[Flagmauth]

Red Hulk grunted, but otherwise took no notice of Nano hitting him. Nano, on the other hand, was spouting curse words at the top of his lungs.

Atlas hesitated. He was pretty sure that the spikes couldn't seriously hurt him at this size...but would it be worth the risk?

Songbird gasped, struggling to get air back into her lungs after having slammed into the ground. How had that happened? The Chitauri equipment wasn't metal..."Eat $#!@." she told Magneto as soon as she could form the words.

Radioactive Man heard the screeching of warping metal and turned. Oh. Look at that. If Magneto could disable the Thunderbolts that easily, it would probably be for the best if he hit him with enough radiation to vaporize a small whale. Blinding green light gathered around his fist before he unleashed it in a beam at Magneto.

[Helsing]

Magneto didn't hear Radioactive Man charge up and didn't see the blast until it was to late. Suddenly a small bolder flew in front of Magneto getting between him and the blast. The blast destroyed the rock and Spider-man landed in from somewhere on top of the remains of the school

"Hi professor, you are OP have you been lifting?"

"Hello Mister parker" Magneto says, he thrust his hand and the pieces of metal in Radioactive Man's suit started to bend to contain him

Spidy looks down at Songbird "Hi dal how've you been? I would help you up but you seem to be crushed by your pride right now"

[Flagmauth]

Songbird gritted her teeth. Brilliant, now this clown shows up? And as usual, they seem convinced the Thunderbolts are the bad guys. Typical.

Fortunately, even if she couldn't move from where she was, she could still use her powers. A gargantuan pink buzzsaw materialized, shooting at Magneto from behind while he focused on Radioactive Man.

Radioactive Man himself appeared unconcerned. "I think you may find it interesting to know that this suit is less to actually contain my abilities than to quiet public fears about radiation. You see, it's understood by the majority of the population, especially those who obtain the bulk of their knowledge about it from comic books."

The metal pieces forming around him suddenly ran down his suit. "As one of the foremost experts on radioactivity in the world, let me show you what it can do." With the glowing remains of the metal no longer holding him back (and his suit beginning to disintegrate from sheer emperature, Radioactive Man launched another barrage of hard radiation at Magneto.

[Helsing]

Spidy shot a bunch of webbing at the bezsaw and then he slams it to the ground. Once that was done spidy shot webbing at songbirds face shutting her up "Stop screaming gess, if you keep yelling people will always think that you can only talk like that"

Magneto formed a huge bareor of metal in front of him to stop him from getting hit from the blast

[Flagmauth]

"Mmpf!" Songbird's hands (her arms weren't pinned down) flew to her face and she tugged viciously on the thick coat of webbing that completely covered it. What the hell was this stuff made of?! She couldn't even begin to get it off.

Radioactive Man just kept the power up. Magneto saw the metal on his end glow a dull red, then bright yellow as it began melting. Beams of radiation were beginning to leak through.

Atlas decided screw it. If the webhead was backing Magneto up he'd have to step in, minor cuts notwithstanding. He batted the metallic spikes aside (grimacing as they bit his hands open) and charged.

[Helsing]

"Uh professor" Spidy says making Magneto look at Atlas. Magneto moves out of the way of Radioactive Man's blast just as it went through the metal, spidy jumps out of the way and climbs on top of the school for a look at atlas

Magneto makes several sizeable object at Atlas and Radioactive Man

[Flagmauth]

Atlas swatted them away again, barreling at Magneto.

Radioactive Man turned his attention to Spidey and fired a beam.

[Helsing]

Magneto constructed a giant metal spike to impale Atlas if he came to close

Spidy dodged the blast and began climbing through the remains of the School. Once he was sure he was away from Radioactive Man's sight "What did I do to offend you, normally I know when I piss someone off but for you I'm drawing a blank"

[Flagmauth]

"To be frank, you haven't offended me. But as a Thunderbolt my orders are to take the X-Men...and by extension, Mr. Lensherr...into custody. You are impeding that process and I cannot abide that." Another blast of radiation burned through the walls at Spider-Man - recalling what he knew about radiation he realized that the Thunderbolt was probably capable of seeing his heat signature.

Atlas' fist slammed into the spike, bending the point harmlessly away from him. His other hand came up, grasping at Magneto. "You're finished, Lensherr."

[Helsing]

Spidy ran through the remains of the school dodging Radioactive Man's blasts, his acrobatic skills making him near impossible to hit

Magneto smiled in Atlas grip "Feel free to knock me out or kill me" he looks over to CV with his sword still hovering over his throat "I'm sure you will like the outcome"

[Flagmauth]

Atlas looked over at CV as well, who stared back impassively. Reluctantly, Atlas released Magneto.

Citizen V, calmly, called out to Magneto. "I suppose you want us to discuss terms of surrender?"
