Mira had shied away from Aaron when he moved to pick her up, tendrils extending from her hair and fingers and waving threateningly.

The priest left his political "friend" and went down to the Truth God's temple, to report to the residing priest his failure. The streets were crowded from people flocking to the city in preparation of the annual magic show. However, in good time he made it to the temple.

Mira proved perfectly capable of following Smoldar and Aaron, though she continued to show a wholesale lack of conversation. She did, occasionally, change her facial expression in response to something said to her, but the expressions were off slightly, as though one were looking at a statue. Her hair continued to flutter slightly regardless of whether or not there was any wind whatsoever. As they drew close to the town her gaze (and to all assumptions her interest as well) was drawn by the wizard's tower outside the walls.

Julios- tired after chasing Octavion and Anastasia- steps inside a tavern for a drink. He sits in a shady corner as he sips on his beer.

A shady man approaches him discreetly and says, "Stam sends you his greetings."

Julios nods as he puts his drink down and walks to the personal grand estate of Stamatios, a member of the Kingdom's Council and governor of the city, which is located in the center of the city.

After being invited in by a housemaid, he heads to the study of Stamatios and finds the hooded and masked politician there, reading through an ancient scroll. He looks up and says, "Julios, please sit. I have some important news to tell you."

Julios nods and sits in an antique chair.

Stamatios then proceeds to tell Julios about what happened at the ruins and commands Julios to not let the convicts or Dane-Train to discover a dark secret within said ruins.

Julios nods and leaves the estate. He then walks up to David and says, "Sir, I think we need to keep the ruins under guard. Orders from Stamatios."

Benoite rolls her eyes in annoyance. "Let me repeat myself: I. Don't. 'Ave. Ze. Money. Period!"

Benoite says nothing as she suddenly produces a dagger and holds it in front of David. "Let me rephrase zat: I don't 'ave money zat I'm willing to give you." she says.

Mira continued to resolutely not react to either of her companions' antics.

A knock on the wizard's tower doors drew the sound of approaching footsteps and irritated muttering. "High damn time you got back - waitaminute." The mage who opened the door blinked at them through his spectacles, before scowling. "What's your business here?"

The mage adjusted his glasses and peered at her. "And why exactly did you want to come?" he asked Mira.

Mira failed to respond, though being addressed directly, as usual, drew her gaze. After a moment of no response, the mage turned back to Aaron. "Not much for conversation, that one. Well?"
