Riley creates a mother pair of smoke bomb aura spheres to cover Desmond's and Serena's climb onto Charizard.

Fang noticed Dawn lowering her Pokeball. He checked her aura to sense confusion.

"Riley and the others were at ground zero of the cataclysm, at the cause of all the death and destruction. The cause was a PI employee. I don't expect you to believe me but think about this. Where did our group go before the cataclysm?" Fang asked as he sat down. "Whole regions destroyed. Who would have done this on purpose? What would they gain?"

Dawn heard the first bit of that and confusion turned into sorrow and then fury. "Wait, you're the people on TV! The ones who started this! You're...you're trying to pin this on Father's company?!"

The group fly out of the house and over the gate

Fang growls as he face palmed (or face pawed) in frustration before an idea hits him.

"Mind telling me two things? First off didn't you view any of the security footage? Second out of curiosity, who first told you of the cataclysm?" Fang asks calmly. 'If she is defending someone without knowing that may explain why neither Riley or I detected any dishonesty from her. She may have been fed lies by her own mother. Keeps the kid safe if she did not know the true cause.' Fang thought as a look that is seen on people(or Pokemon in this case) who were thinking about something.

"Sorry, but my orders are final till I hear otherwise. Get used to me." Fang says in a emotionless tone as he relaxed. "Bet this will be easier than figuring out those Mega Stones...bet Riley has one for both Shadow and I." Fang thought aloud not caring that Dawn could hear him.

Eric and Charizard come back with Rob outside the gates. Eric looks out at the house now smoking "That went well"

"I'm telling you otherwise." A flash of white light later and a blue, birdlike Pokemon with a long, winding tail and triple-pointed crest stood between to two. "Last chance to get the hell out of my house!"

Riley looked around then turned to the mansion and visibly paled.

"Crud, fighting type against a flying type...bad mix." He says worriedly.

"Who is this pretty bird?" Fang asked amusedly trying to hide his tensing body through a cheap joke. "Haven't seen one of them before."

The legendary bird fired a powerful Ice Beam at Fang, a frigid bolt of lightning thick as a tree trunk.

"Crud!" Fang yelps before he gets out of the room and uses the doorframe ( that was intact) as cover. When the Ice Beam hit, it trapped Fang to the door frame. "Articuno, why do you fight for this human? Your legend with Zapdos and Moltrase is known through out the world. Yet you fight alongside the daughter of a ignorant human that killed thousands. Humans and Pokemon alike. Why do you fight?" Fang asked in Pokemon dialog as he breaks out of the icy prison and retreated to better cover but didn't leave the house.

Eric, november and Charizard fly to the house and go around to see Articuno fighting Fang

Eric's eyes widen "Wow. Did not expect that"

They fly closer to the battle "MISS STOP THIS PLEASE THIS FIGHT DOESN'T NEED TO HAPPEN" Eric says to Dawn

"THEN LEAVE!" Dawn yelled back at him defiantly. Articuno charged after Fang.

Serena shook her head. "I don't think she's going to listen to us, maybe we should leave."

"PI has legendaries, though. Enough of them to let a teenage girl have one. That's...an issue." Desmond fretted.

Charizard seeing a Fang getting chased and attack decides to get between him and Articuno

"WOW BUDDY" Eric says not thinking Charizard would to that. Charizard then roars at Articuno with fire in his mouth

"Arceus above!" Serena said, looking terrified; Charizard had, of course, put her and Dez in the path of the legendary as well.

"HELIX!" Desmond took a more practical approach; he dove off of Charizard to the ground, attempting to roll. It sort of worked, though he landed in a bush.

Articuno's wings glowed bright electric blue, before the Pokémon pulled up sharply, leaving the two energy blasts to slam into Charizard with devastating effect, each exploding into a miniature tornado. Now that they were outside the Articuno (who had ignored Fang's soliloquy) didn't bother holding back with the next Ice Beam, which was a nearly-blinding beam of frigid light.

Charizard counters with a huge inforno of fire and a then huge fire blast at the legendary

Articuno folded its wings in front of it, taking the Fire Blast like nothing. The Hurricane attack it had launched earlier nearly knocked Serena and Eric off of Charizard's back; Serena lost her hat and said something very impolite, snatching at it as it blew away.

Charizard managed to fly around the Articuno and hit the legendary bird with a fire blast to the back

A single flap of Articuno's wings threw a Blizzard in the path of the Fire Blast, dispersing it and nearly knocking Eric and Serena off into the air again. Serena, by this point hanging on to Eric for dear life, had to practically yell in his ear to be heard. "I think we shouldn't be up here!"
