Re: Storm The Castle
Rudolf lunged to the side, trying to swing around the oncoming wall to get behind it as Elsa slid it forwards. It then collided with his frostbitten hand, and the resulting stab of pain drew an agonized howl from him as he tumbled over the edge, spinning as he fell away into empty space...only for his wildly grasping healthy hand to bring him to a stop, grasping something cold.
Looking up, he saw what it was. A chain wrought from pure, steel-hard ice, the other end of which was in Elsa's hands. The frost witch was desperately trying to keep herself from being pulled over as well - a portion of the bridge rose for her to brace herself against, but she was clearly fighting a losing battle here, and by the horrified expression on her face, she knew it.

Lydia stopped and saw the stubble "S@#$" she says. She runs and grabs the ice chain and starts to pull

Re: Storm The Castle
The combined effort of the two women (well, mostly Lydia, to be fair) managed to keep Rudolf from sliding any further and (again, mostly Lydia) they began to haul him slowly up.
Re: Storm The Castle
"You are your heavy ass got yourself into this mess so you better thank us by getting the hell out of this place" Lydia calls down to Rudolf

Rudolf didn't respond, clinging on for dear life.

Re: Storm The Castle
Elsa breathed a sigh of relief as Rudolf dangled...she'd been worried that his prejudice would drive him to do something insane like allow him to drop. Between herself and Lydia, the shaman was doing almost all the work - she was accustomed to a life on the move and was in much better shape for something like this. It was all the exiled queen could do just to keep hold of the chain by this point. "We'll...we'll have you up here soon! Just don't let go!"
Re: Storm The Castle
"Keep pulling, less talking" Lydia says as she keeps pulling rudolf up

Re: Storm The Castle
Rudolf finally felt safe enough to think. Why were they rescuing him? They wouldn't do it out of kindness surely. No they would torture him!
Rudolf decides that they shall not get him alive. Elsa and Lydia find themselves pulling up nothing, for Rudolf is falling once again.

Felix sees Rudolph plunging toward the ground. "GODDESS POWERS ACTIVATE!" Felix cries, leaping off of the bridge after Rudolph.

Lydia had seen some weird and horrible stuff in her day but seeing two people jump off a cliff was more then a little unsettling

Re: Storm The Castle
With the sudden disappearance of the weight on the chain, Elsa fell backwards with a yelp. What did - ?
Oh no.
Oh, NO!
Elsa scrambled to the side of the bridge in time to see Rudolf's defiant expression as he fell away into the mist, followed by Felix diving off after him. She reached out a hand futilely after them. "No..." she whispered. "I - they're dead...I killed them!" Suddenly feeling ill, she pulled back from the edge and looked at Lydia, sheer terror in her expression. "Run! Get out of here! I don't want to hurt you too! NOW!" She could feel the power rising through her, boiling over in tune with her increasingly out-of-control emotions as the wind howled around the castle like an unearthly beast, snow clouding the air like a thick fog.
Leofsig needed no further encouragement. He started sprinting for the castle window.

Re: Storm The Castle
The two Norwegians dashed down the stairs, sprinting for their lives against the rising blizzard and the rapidly dropping temperature...until a wave of electric blue light caught them both in the back, hurling them forward and off the stairs.
Two human ice statues hit the ground floor and shattered into powder on impact. The castle heaved as snow built up around it and the sun was blocked out by rising clouds of ice crystals.
