After pulling off the Bellsprout the figure walked out of the shadows tossing the Pokemon over his shoulder.

"His name is because of his eyes. When we first met he glared at me with a will to protect against anything. I wanted to know what it was so I decided to stick around for a while. When the forest was caught in lightning storm. We worked together and we've been a team ever since." Said the figure that looked about twenty years old, had black hair, green eyes that seemed to glow in the light. He had a athletic build and dark clothing that helps him blend into the shadows. "Eric Night is my name. Who are you all?"

Crimson walked to Eric's side and watched the group.

"What are yo-yow!" Eric says before rolling to the side as the star shaped Pokemon barely missed his head and hit the tree. Crimson charged at John and tackled him, fangs fully visible. "Crimson, down! Noncombatant! Drunken idiot." Eric shouts as he gets to his feet and rushes to John and Crimson.

Eric pulled off the Bellsprout with a bit of effort put into it.

"Shut up. Crimson, new target. Restrain this grass type." Eric said tossing the Bellsprout into Crimson's sight range. Crimson slowly obeyed the command and walked over to the grass type.

Crimson tilted his head to the side in confusion.

"Do we need to have you tested for insanity kid?" Eric asked the laughing kid with a head tilt the same way as Crimson.
