Alette changed priorities again. A few paces to the left and Jean was between her and Eren. At the same time she made sure she was far enough away from Eren and Mikasa that when the cannon was fired she didn't think she'd be hit.

"I'm not arguing, just trying not to get shot!" Alette was specifically not planning to outrun the blast from the cannonfire - she knew perfectly well that wasn't possible, even if it was also theoretically impossible for Eren to be a Titan. Instead, she was trying to place herself outside the blast radius so she wouldn't need to dodge.
