Takeshi and Archer arrive back at the temple.

[Flagmauth]

"Enjoying yourself, Master?" Caster inquired after Aaron did not move from his wall-examining.

[Helsing]

Aaron shook his head "Sorry, just finalizing some things in my head. Great work by the way."

[Flagmauth]

"You seem remarkably at ease, considering I just devoured close to half a million souls."

[Helsing]

"I remember giving you the order to gain as much possible power in order to fight? Looking at this you fallowed your order to the letter and then some. Now even Saber will have more then a little trouble fighting you."

[Flagmauth]

Caster smiled lazily, like a well-fed cat. "Indeed." With that, he retired to his throne again.

[Helsing]

"I'll admit that I would've preferred you to do this with a little bit more digression but you dragons do know how to put on a show."

[Flagmauth]

At the base of the temple stairs, Rin was glaring up at the temple. "He has some nerve, pulling a thing like this after we told him what would happen."

<Master,> Assassin's voice seemed to come from nowhere. <I have located the Masters of Saber and Archer. Do you want me to focus on Caster?> The Servants hadn't gotten the update that everyone was ganging up on Team Caster - which meant that Assassin had gotten the information from some other source. Fairly impressive, really.

[Helsing]

"I'm pretty sure that everyone will be coming here for to try and take us out." Aaron said picking up his grenade launcher "This is going to be a piece of ball of sh@t."

"Yes, the Masters of Saber and Archer are at the base of the stairs."

<archer, can you see any hidden defenses?>

"Well we can't just waltz up the front steps."

[Flagmauth]

<No.>

"Agreed. I can't sense any Bounded Field, but we don't know how powerful Caster is. Saber better go in first - his Magic Resistance should protect him."

[A Blind Guy]

"sounds good to me, there are no visible or hidden defenses in placd either."

[Flagmauth]

Rin nodded, as Saber started up the steps towards the temple.

Takeshi is now in his suit and tie from the night before, trying to hide the shaking in his hands, he had dealt with a lot of insane thigs as a magic enforcer but never something like this. He grits his teeth to push the fear out of his mind.

[Helsing]

"We have a guest coming up." Aaron said watching Saber come up the steps "Have any greetings planed?"

[Flagmauth]

Saber was met at the top by a full platoon of those animated armor constructs. Naturally, they were individually no match for the Servant - but there were about fifty of them at any one time and Caster could just replenish them.

<archer, Clear the way for Saber please.>

[Flagmauth]

Archer didn't respond, instead choosing to unleash a maelstrom of arrows that tore apart the armor almost as fast as Caster could recreate them.

Together, Archer and Saber fought their way towards the entrance. Rin was not idle while this happened - a total of four emerald shield projections formed a rough half-dome in front of her and Takeshi.

[Helsing]

Aaron took a position and waited for a good shot

[Flagmauth]

Good shots were going to be hard to come by - Rin had the two opposing Masters too well-covered, he couldn't even see Archer, and Saber would probably laugh in his face after tearing it off if he shot at him.

[Draco Flame]

Gerson who was still driving back to Fuzzuki who got almost as bored as lancer along the way and put in the flight of the Valerie was they entered the city traffic with there doggy mantle pic pointing straight a head toward the center of town. And In traffic they came to a stop. At such time Gereon took out a map and set on the dash board in front of the center council. "I hate hunting only one prey it's to much like fishing. now if we're here that means that caster could be anywhere along here .... unless he turned... " He began mumbling under his breath.

[Flagmauth]

<Don't Casters like to hole up somewhere and wait for people to come to them? That could narrow down our options.> If Lancer was actually thinking about the situation that must mean he had truly achieved a new level of boredom - he still just wanted a decent fight.

Back at the temple, the armor constructs had run out. So Caster did something unexepected again.

He showed up, all four and a half feet of him, at the temple entrance, bedecked in jeweled armor and carrying, of all things, an equally jeweled battleaxe.

Saber took a full three seconds to process that. "Caster? With an actual weapon? What sort of charade is this?" He sounded halfway between annoyed and amused, before leveling his black, serrated sword at the dwarf. "It doesn't matter. If you're foolish enough to engage Servant Saber in combat after what you did, then you will die like the animal you are." 

Saber charged, the sheer force applied to the temple's paving stones crushing them into powder beneath his feet, black sword upraised to slice Caster in half.

Given his Magic Resistance, melee prowess and stature, Saber held every advantage imaginable over Caster - a class that didn't even use weapons, most of the time. So it was understandable that everyone watching (including Assassin, lurking unseen and undetected by the outer edge of the courtyard) was completely shocked when Caster didn't just parry the blade, but knocked it clean out of Saber's hand.

[Draco Flame]

"True but we don't know where in town so i could just be in the sewers or in some old building. so we just continue to follow the dog. That hasn't moved in the past two hours." Gerson then slowly thought of the possibilities that it could be broken.

Takeshi quickly picked his jaw off of the ground. "Well that was unexpected."
