[A Blind Guy]

T-tyson... what the hell... wait how long have i been like this?"

[Helsing]

Sienna

He pulled her in tighter.

"Love you too."

Then the island broke apart, and they both fell into the void.

Moments Later: Reality

Tyson glanced at his watch, "Five hours twenty-four minutes and fifteen seconds. I tried to move you but you and Sienna-"

His words trailed off as Sienna's eyes returned to their normal color and the throne of trees that had been holding her up suddenly dropped her on the floor.

[Flagmauth]

Having just experienced falling at terminal velocity, Sienna had been expecting a much harder impact than what she actually got. She cried out more in surprise than anything as she landed flat on her face.

"...ow." Immediately she stirred, trying to get to her feet.

[A Blind Guy]

Sterling tries to stand as well. "How is everything going? any news while we were out/"

[Helsing]

"News!?" Tyson screamed, "What the fuck could I say that could possibly be more important than what the fuck happened to you two!? You dropped a sword the size of Beacon tower on a man!"

[A Blind Guy]

"it's... a long story. One you probable won't believe."

[Helsing]

Tyson stared at his leader, "I got the shit beaten out of my by a raging psychopath before my best friend dropped and I hate to repeat myself, a building-sized sword on a man! I'll believe anything at this rate."

[A Blind Guy]

"Ok, I talked to a goddess."

[Helsing]

"... excuse me for a moment."

Tyson turned around at which point that Ruby came in.

"Oh, Sterling, Sienna you guys are-!"

"Upupupupupup!" Tyson interrupts.

Before she could stop him, Tyson took her cloak, buried his face in it and screamed for all that he was worth. Once he was out of breath, he turned back to Sterling, leaving a very confused and very concerned Ruby behind. He walks up to Sterling and took a deep breath.

"...what?"

[Flagmauth]

Well at least Sterling saw more or less the same thing, that made Sienna feel significantly less like she was nuts. "Basically that. It's...complicated, and confusing, and I feel like I'm gonna pass out so can we maybe explain this on the ride back?"

[A Blind Guy]

"Told you. so, after I bit into the apple, a lot of psychedelic shit happened. and then a woman who looked like Opal started to talk to me. turns out, she is the goddess of potential. after asking a series of morally trying questions, we saw sienna talking to someone on the edge of a floating city, after a few more minutes I saw what happened out here, and now I'm back here."

[Helsing]

" Tyson screamed.

[A Blind Guy]

"Told you. Look, we can talk about this later when we aren't in the middle of a destroyed church."

[Helsing]

"And whose fault is that?"

[A Blind Guy]

"We can place blame on me later. I will explain everything when we're back on the airship and out of danger."

[Helsing]

"... fine."

He turned on his heel and walked out of the chruch, dragging Ruby along. The poor girl had no idea what was going on and when the rest of her team saw Tyson they raised a few eyebrows.

"Sterling and Sienna are awake and we're leaving."

And with that, it turns out, that the airship was already in the courtyard, clearly, Tyson had brought it over during the time that they were out. A quick turn and the airship started up. A few minutes later, everyone was back on the airship as it rose into the sky. When the course was set, Tyson turned in his seat and glanced at his two teammates.

"Alright, how about we start from the beginning."

[Flagmauth]

"So the glow-in-the-dark fruit, right?" Sienna said. "Apparently my dad found it out here in the middle of nowhere and they built the whole town around it with Ozpin's help. That's why it was here and in the middle of the church." She paused for a second, frowning as a thought occurred to her. "And I just learned that while I was...glowing, or unconscious or whatever the hell you want to call that, otherwise I would have brought it up on the way here."

[A Blind Guy]

"Incredible. Did anything happen to them after we took a bite out of each one?" Sterling asks, turning to Tyson.

[Helsing]

"Disappeared after you Mount Glenned the church."

[A Blind Guy]

Sterling visibly relaxed as he leaned back in his char. "We need to talk to ozpin as soon as we return to the school."

[Flagmauth]

"Hell yeah we do."

[Helsing]

"To recap, we went to a village as a scouting mission and ended up having two of our teammates have an acid trip that lead them to talking to goddesses? Am I missing anything?"

[A Blind Guy]

"No I think that about covers it."

[Flagmauth]

"Oh, and my dad was there too. Though that doesn't have a lot to do with the rest of it, I guess."

[Helsing]

Tyson blinks, "I thought your dad was dead."
