In the back of the room, Venus finds a Ralts with many wires attached to its head. The Ralts appears to be unconscious.

(Ah. You're right, I missed it. Still interesting that both Klink and Sableye were on my wishlist as well.)

"Oh no! There's another victim of Team Rocket's cruelty." Venus call out, for the benefit of her friends.

She does a cursory examination of the wires, to make sure it won't damage Ralts to remove them, and then she proceeds to remove them. Venus cradles the Ralts in her arms.

"Are you going to be okay, little one?"

The Ralts lets out a weak cry, the horns on its head glowing faintly. It turns its head up to look at Venus, laying back on her arm.

Turning to her friends again Venus calls out, "Aaron, if Audino could come heal Ralts, it would be really great. Also, if anyone knows anything about Team Rocket Machinery, they might want to check out this thing that Ralts was hooked up to."

Luna looks at the device. "I wonder if this is what Team Rocket is using to make these... Shadow Pokemon..." She sets down Pikachu and calls over Rotom. "Now... if I remember correctly... Rotom can take over electrical items and see inside of them much like a Porygon can, which is why the Porygon attacked us back there. If Rotom can manage to get inside the computer, maybe... just maybe it can pull up what this machine is used for on the displays."

May suspicious of the device asks Luna "Would it be possible for Rotom to be converted into a shadow Pokemon?...It could be extremely dangerous"

"don't bother trying. " says a voice behind them, that device will infuse any Pokémon with shadow energy, most of them can't take the process, you put that Rotom in there, you're not getting it back.

that is correct, i was down on my luck with not a penny to my name, so team rocket hired me to design machines to " help create sustainable energy. " i wish i knew what that really meant than. a few months ago, i got fed up with all this, but they wouldn't let me go. so during break, i snuck out. little did i know that had watchmen at the exits. so now " he tugs at what looks like a metal neck brace at his neck "i'm stuck here.

Luckily this guy here just showed up and conveniently told us what this machine does. I for one do not trust him and refuse to tell him my name." Luna says as she recalls her all of her pokemon except Pikachu.

don't even try to put it near it, the machine is very strong and can sense where a pokemon is and basicly latches onto it, and i know you shouldn't trust me, i had to se about other experiments i was working on, i heard loud noises and ran back here to find all of you here.

Luna looks at Evola Waren. "So Mr. Waren, What I want to understand is... you were hired to create a sustainable energy source by using these machines. You were imprisoned here and forced to basically make Shadow Pokemon. What I want to know, is there any way to reverse the process. To return Shadow Pokemon to their normal state."

" ah yes, i have been working on that, he walks over to the device and punches some code into the control panel and a small alcove opens up which is lined with panels and wires, " i have been trying to find a way to reverse it after a couple tries, i think i got it.

the shadow transformation was an unfortunate side effet, i first tried it on a couple electric pokemon, and those did not go over so well

As Audino works on the injured Ralts, Aaron walks in to have a look.

"While this will be really helpful, perhaps we should save testing it until we are somewhere safer."

(Two Notes:

1. Welcome to Pokemon Alexandrite blindguy42. As I presume your character will have a Pokemon, I will have said Pokemon be in the range of about level 25, as the Pokemon of everyone else is about that. Additionally, seeing as everyone else except you and Sagan will be getting the "Christmas Pokemon" I do each year, I will allow you both to have an additional Pokemon. The second Pokemon will also be around level 25 and can have one egg move, TM move, or HM move, if you really want. I am currently working with Sagan on his Pokemon. PM me when you have decided. I advise using Bulbapedia.

2. The stats of Venus' Ralts have been added to the first page. At this point, only Luna and May are missing their "Christmas Pokemon". Assuming you guys keep going, you WILL receive them.)

That might not be too easy i fear. " he pulls at his electric collar, "If I leave the compound.. I'm toast. Besides testing it isn't easy, it requires a powerful amount of energy and caues a power surge every time i try it. I've gotten by with the usual excuses of "sorry sir won't happen again" when they hound me about it, so testing isn't as simple as you hope. by the way, is that my Ralts over there?" he points to the Ralts.

Have you seen any team rocket employees with electric collars around their necks? if so, than riddle me this, he walks over to a wall and kicks a hole in it, revealing a small tunnel, that's where i escaped from the first time, I assume out of laziness the boss put me back here so they wouldn't have to move any of this stuff, luckily they never ound out about this.
