(Technically, there is an item called Sticky Barb which does stick onto Pokemon [and can be passed from one Pokemon to another] that can be stolen by Thief and Covet. Tell you what, you manage to get that plunger off before 11:45 pm, go ahead and delete the post in which Covet was used, because I'm going to post the cliffhanger at midnight.)

[Kirlia doesn't have an "h" at the end[/ocd] And yeah, Sheo, Aaron hasn't been with us since Waren teleported them away, which in retrospect was weird since he tried to go to the Gym to find Morty when, IIRC, Morty was already there. Herp derp.]

I was very confused after I got back and looked over the previous pages so forgive me for that, and the "h" in Kirlia is a force of habit for some reason.

Dismayed, Dawn shook her head no. She'd never really gotten the chance to list the others on her PokéNav, given the amount of activity they'd been involved with.

(If I tried teleporting just myself somewhere while holding onto the plunger, would just the plunger and I be ported or will Dawn be as well?)

"Actually, I have an idea," Aaron says, popping around the corner, "Audino, use Covet on the plunger."

Audino jumps up, grabbing onto of the plunger, which glows pink before popping off Dawn's face with a pop, leaving a red, raw outline where it had been.

"Ah, sorry!" Aaron says, a little embarrassed.

"Well, here the rest of you are," Lt. Surge growls, coming from behind another building, "your Gym Leader friend wasn't willing to tell me where you were," he says, hoisting up Morty by his scarf. Morty was covered in cuts and bruises.

"Let him go!" Aaron yells, releasing his Pokemon.

Lt. Surge grins, dropping Morty, who lets out a wheeze after hitting the ground.

"I think you have bigger problems to worry about," he smirks, as the building next to him falls apart, leaving an enormous Pokemon emerging from the dust. Pitch black, with red lightning coils off and striking the ground around it.



Aaron goes pale, "Th-Th-Thundurus."

[Alright, my OCD won't let me get away without saying this: Still doesn't match Covet's description, really, so (probably) better alternative IMO is basically taking 20, since the plot wouldn't move on without success in the plunger issue. Plus, technically if Waren, Dawn and Aaron all tried to remove it at the same time that'd be three d20 rolls, so yeah. Anyway, OCD nitpicking over.]

THREAD RE-OPENED.

Dawn gasped in shock and horror, releasing her Pokémon for battle.

[Sheogorath]

"Pineco, Prote...!" Aaron says, trying to shield them, but red lightning blasts them all, send them flying into another building, crashing through a window.

"Such tricks will not save you," Surge laughs, walking toward the building.

Aaron attempts to lift himself up, but broken glass pushes into his arms, causing him to fall back down, pained tears falling from his eyes.

[Doomwing]

Luna looks up from the other side of the Town at the massive flares of Red Lighting. She gasps and scoops up Pikachu and runs toward the Red lightning.

[President WIN]

Venus, looks up from where she's been hand-tending the wounds of Ralts. (Although it isn't fully recovered yet, it might be by the time she reaches the battle.) She recalls Ralts to its pokéball, content that it is healing. Venus then notices Red lightning flash up, nearby.

"Oh no!" she exclaims, beginning to run toward the battle with her pokémon in tow (in case no one's noticed, Venus really likes traveling with all her pokémon out, unless they need to rest, and that's how they are right now). Then she halts a minute, looking back at her pokémon.

"Are really doing this?"

They look back at her questioningly, as if to say, "What are you asking us for? We're with you."

"Right, we're doing this." Venus says, turning back toward the lightning and resuming her sprint. Her pokémon eagerly charging along behind her.

[Flagmauth]

"Aaron!" Dawn rushed over to help Aaron up and get them both out of the line of fire, while her Pokémon launched attacks at Thundurus.
