New Early machine gun like Constructs give the germans an Advantage. While Increased artillery accuracy and Range destroy more Russian Fortifications.

Russia, owning quite a few French guns and starting to make more or less accurate copies of them on its own, holds the Germans and Austrians pretty well despite machine guns being introduced. The bombardment of their fortifications doesn't make much of a difference either (you can't get everything you want by shooting artillery, unfortunately)

The CSA's government is in an uproar over the question of emancipation at the moment.

The Empire of Japan seizes Spanish possessions in the Pacific on the grounds that they are a threat to her national security.

Russian officers can be seen walking around Britain. They officially are on leave. Unofficially, meaning you need to roll atleast a 14 to find out, they are being trained by the British.

Research into a lighter material for aircraft is nearing completion. Just a few more weeks, and Britain will be using a lighter, more durable and cost effective material then anything any other nation has.

The British government also expands it's trade agreement with the US, Japan, and her South Americans trade partners.

the British expand their intelligence agencies. already being the best in the world, it's hard to do. although they are good, it will still take at least an 18 to find out about the gas. In the future, it will be easier for MI6 to find out (meaning, the roll odds increase for me by 1).

The Russian armies launch a vicious counterattack on the stalled German and Austrian invaders, inflicting many casualties but not gaining much land. Their lines are now protected by a vast network of trenches and earthworks, with unreliable Russian machine guns and more reliable French ones being placed along it very quickly.

France decides Germany doesn't want the explanation, whatever it was for.
