Re: Successor of Rome
The Arabs concentrate on trade with India, so that the standard trade route goes through Arabia [though ship route is required, but is faster than trying to go through Persia. This means ships can be rented in Riyadh and other coastal cities.], not Persia. This seems logical to Arabia since Persia is occupied at the moment with fighting Arabia and the Byzantines at the same time.

Re: Successor of Rome
The Vandals efforts to crush the Sicilians have been in vain.
Meanwhile, the Bretons manage to push into Roman Territory, at a heavy cost.
The Persians decide to attack the Byzantines before the Byzantines have a chance to recover. (d20 #1)
The Western Romans under that guy who's name I think is Syraguse (Or something like that) rally to repel the Bretons (d20 #2)
The Ostrogoths on Sicily attempt to repel the Vandal invaders. (d20 #3)

The Persians win another victory agains the Byzantines, regaining more of the territory they lost.
The Romans route the Bretons, sending them back into their territory, only to get beaten in return on the Bretons' territory.
The Ostrogoths fail to repel the Vandals.

Re: Successor of Rome
The Romans repel the Bretons, but decide not to pursue in order to build up their "army".
Meanwhile, the Persians turn their attention back on the Arabs and attack them.

The Bretons' launch surprised the Romans, effectively losing half of their territory. The Roman make a stand at the city of Lutetia Parisiorium (Modern day Paris). (d20 #1)
The Vandals meet heavy resistance by the Ostrogoths, who launch another assault. (d20 #2)

(I was just editing this post when that reply came up, so in the future, please be patient.)
The defense at Lutetia Prisiorium holds fast, though at a heavy cost. The Bretons infiltrate the city and sack it some time later.
The Ostrogoths- at a moderate casualty rate- manage to chase the Vandals to the very border of Sicily.
Now with only a small sliver of land left, the Romans make a stand against the Bretons (Yet again) at the Roman capital Novidunum (Modern day Soissons). (d20 #1)
Meanwhile, the Persians once again attempt to attack the Arabs. (d20 #2)
