"What is Ophela's ultimate goal in this plan of hers?" Octavion asks, his sword just centimeters above the vampire's neck.

"The treasure? I'm not sure where it...cough... would be. I would guess spread...cough...out and hidden because Ophela is overly cautious like...cough...that. As to...cough...why she....cough..."the vampire was getting very exhausted from its injuries.

Meanwhile about ten vampires with weapons (swords) are approaching the temple of Okmontoc.

The vampire saw his friends approach and pretended to be unconscious.

The vampires were now reasonably close and were waving their swords at the group, smiling wickedly.

The spike thudded into the wall next to one of their heads and then disappeared, summoned back to its wielder. "Next one goes through your head. They're made of adamant and soaked in holy water."

The arrow goes through the heart of the lead vampire, killing him instantly.

The point of Octavion's sword swiftly goes through the trachea and esophagus of the vampire pretending to be unconscious, effectively cutting off his air supply before killing him.

"Those cute little daggers wouldn't even harm a fly" Dezenn's vampire said, flinging its sword at her neck "let me teach you a little about fencing."

Anastasia is meanwhile being confronted by two vampires, of course carrying swords.

Octavian is attacked from behind by yet another vampire, thrusting its sword at Octavions back.

David meanwhile cuts down an unfortunate vampire, turning around just in time to parry a blow by vampire 5.

Vampire 5 meanwhile presses its advantage against David, giving him no time to take up an defensive stance.

Anastasia's first vampire comes at her slicing at her torso. The second vampire remains behind the first, ready to take its spot...

Dezenn dropped under the vampire's thrust, ramming a spike into the being's outstretched arm as she did so. The vampire roared in pain and dropped the sword. "I'm no expert, but I remember something about not letting the opponent get inside your swing." Dezenn said as she shoved a spike up into the vampire's ribcage, killing it.

"I see you know a little about fencing? Then let me show you what an experienced soldier can do" Another vampire (6) says, swinging his sword at Dezenn (obviously out of cutting range from the dagger).

Dezenn ducked and rolled to the side, keeping out of the vampire's reach this time as she loaded her sling. "You mean swing at me with a melee weapon while I stay out of range and put a spike through his head?"

With a vampiric agility, the vampire launched itself sword first at Dezenn.

David meanwhile is busy fighting his opponent, waiting for the vampire to tire its' endless assault.

Dezenn slid to the side again, but not quite fast enough; the vampire's blade sliced into her left arm as it shot past and the creature's shoulder slammed into her and hurled her to the ground. She was able to get up before the vampire landed (it wouldn't be able to change direction midair) and hurled a spike at it.

The dagger cut into the vampire's side, causing the vampire to flinch before it kept up its assualt. Another vampire decided to help it and joined in against Dezenn.

Dezenn knew that this could very easily go badly for her; two on one where the two had vampiric abilities....not a good situation to be in. Another spike thudded into the first vampire's chest before the thief backed off, watchful for an attempted lunge.
