The mage, who didn't seem terribly bothered by the tentacles that had run him through, looked down at the one in his gut. "Oh, look. I've been impaled." His body began dissolving, its extremities shriveling into bits of flesh that were stripped off as though in a fierce wind, flying towards the torso.

The Runepriests left standing retreat little by little, carving runes into the road as they inch back.

"Grrr. Now I have to get a medic" David muttered "unless one of you convicts can heal him."

Smoldar lands directly in front of the priests with an earth shaking THUD sending debris flying everywhere.

"No" the priest replied. The runes that he'd carved into the road were explosive runes and as he hit the pavement with his staff, the explosions started "you should perhaps run."

The mage's face skin was being stripped away, blood running in rivulets down his neck. His arms and legs were reduced to bleeding stumps.

"Løb" the northerners yell, running for cover from the explosions. David and the northerners try to head out of the ruins before the entire thing ends up on top of them.

Slowly the old building break apart, the ones next to the explosive runes collapsing completely, while a little further away only loose fragments (often times huge boulders) fall from the leftover buildings. In frustration David declares everyone (with exception of himself) under arrest.

"Well, General Uptight Jack@$$ wants to arrest us now. I say we hight tail it out of here before those crazy priests come back." Octavion says as he makes sure he keeps his distance between him and David.
