Harry checks that all the supplies are on the ship and the crew are were they need to be. He turns to the captain "We're ready to take off"

The dock workers give the green light and Harry expertly polities the Zeppelin out of the dock

Crewe stood in the cockpit signaling Harry to take off "Once you are in the air we'll set course for Essex and then cross the channel to avoid French airships."

The flight out of London went well. However at Essex strong winds picked up and the channel itself was grey from above. Visibility wouldn't be good.

Harry called to the operations to turn on the exterior lights

The lights were on, and other ships could see them if necessary. As long as they were close to the British shore the lights would be on, but Crewe wanted the lights off as soon as they were crossing the channel/ North Sea.
