The crew were ready to leave the Netherlands and head towards Hamburg. Reports showed that the French had captured Belgium, despite British airships having a notable presence in the area. French chips have been cited to be close to the Dutch border at the moment.

The Merlin took off towards Hamburg. Crewe ordered some crewmen on wither side of the ship to keep watch for French and Prussian warships. The clouds grew heavy as the ships entered the rainy northern part of Germany.

The French ships didn't spot the French ship. However, it was clear that the French controlled the area.

A few hours later, the Merlin approached Hamburg. Ships from the combined German (or more accurately Prussian) and British fleet were swarming the air. Rumor had it that there was heavy fighting in Köln and by the sound of it, the French were winning.

Too late, for a Prussian ship approached the Merlin. It signaled that the Merlin, as a British vessel is required to aid in the war, in particular because the French fleet/army was en route.

In the distance a burning airship was struggling to keep its altitude, making a crash landing for Hamburg. It was badly damaged.

The French Fleet was on the horizon, hard to see at the moment, but airships, cavalry and infantry were making their way towards Hamburg.

The French armies were now working their way through the plains surrounding Hamburg, their airships protecting the nearest troops. A larger French ship, flying not only the fleur de lis, but also a dragon on a blue background.
