That did it. Laura was sprinting through the door almost before the scream ended.

Laura ended up in the same hallway as Sarah and the two went to the main hanger bay. A code red alarm was flashing and everyone who wasn't an IS pilot was getting the hell out of the way and to a safe place.

When the two girls got to the hanger bay they saw what was attacking them. It looked like it came straight out of a meca anime, with red armor and as many guns on it as Nova

In a flash, Laura had deployed Schwarzer Regen and launched her cable-guided daggers.

The cable-guided daggers went right for there target, but the IS moved with inhuman speed and simply knocked them to the side with one of its hands. It then deployed a tank turit on its shoulder. It fired at the door leading to the hanger, sealing Laura and Sarah in there with it.

Sarah deploys her IS "This is going to be fun" she says grimly

As Rin cut through the door, the tank shell that was entened for Luara passed right by her exploding right behind her

Laura smiled. Kinetic weapons - or at least it seemed to favor them. That made things all the simpler. She retracted her daggers and boosted straight for the enemy machine, zig zagging in three dimensions to make herself a difficult target.

Laura's plan was simple - once she got close enough, she'd deploy her AIC to immobilize the enemy while she got behind it, then hit it with her armblades and railgun.

The IS was instantly trapped in Laura's AIC. With not being able to move it took the next shoots like a bitch.

"Nice!" Sarah says

The victory was short lived thou. Someway some how the IS started to move in the AIC, not only that it lunged at Laura

"I thought that thing didn't let anything move!?!"

"It doesn't!" Laura activated her blades and slashed at the enemy IS, re-deploying her daggers to grapple the machine.

Laura, meanwhile, used her dagger cables to throw the enemy across the room. Not wasting a second, she flew after it with blades extended.

All of the attacks contacted and the IS went down and it stayed down "Well, thats that I guess"

Wards voice came through the coms "Don't stop shooting! Take it out into the ocean and take it apart!"

"Kind of unneeded Ward it dow-" as to prove the point of not taking the initiative the IS got up again. This time a red light gleamed on its chest "Adaptation complete" It said

Laura bared her teeth, ramming one of her energy blades forward at the IS' head.

It did nothing until the last possible moment where on it caught Laura's blade with its hands. Its armor didn't look like it was having any damage from the blade either

Laura still had her left-hand blade. She attacked with that, keeping the machine's focus on her blades while she attempted to wrap her dagger cables around it.

The IS just lets itself get hit by Luara's attacks and is wrapped in the cables

Laura jetted backwards to give Sarah a clear line of fire, using her cables to keep the target in place while she did so. At the same time, she aimed her own railgun at the unknown IS and fired, as much as to keep its focus on her as to actually damage it.
