The officer leads them to what the palace of the Tetsu clan, a snall building with the same style as all of the others in the village. Inside sat an elderly man with an unsheathed Katana laid across his knees. "What is your bussiness officer?" He asks. "I have brought the strangers as requested master." The officer replies with a bow.

The explorers bow and kneel before the elderly man as was custom in Osaka and waited for him to speak.

Back in Shikoku, Damyo Oak greets the leader "who are you?"

Outside the city the guards of the Shikoku suddenly attack their new "allies", taking them by surprise.

The missionary asks to set up quarters in Aqariqo and to do the religious ceremony in the kings palace.

To the south the Canberran army meet the Aqariqo army "you don't look like barbarians. Who are you?"

South of the city, the Arqariqoar commander scowls. "We are Arqariqoar, the settlers of the Beacon of Civilization, a shining example for all those who come after. And who are you? Your banners suggest another city and yet you are ignorant of Arqariqo's light."

"Oh is that so?" Oak smiled "Do you want to know what happened to them?"
Outside the city the small Tetsu contingent had been taken captive.

The ceremony would be a feast and then some water effects.

"You are do full of yourself" The Canberran captain laughed "I'm captain Cook by the way!"

"We will gladly provide one of our top generals to Osaka, aki, go and gather our remaining officers." The elderly man says as a boy about 15 years old, Aki, dashes out the door.

Aki returns with 2 men, younger than the Daimyo but not by much.

"Honor does you no good. It is for weaklings" Oak replied, steeping back so that his guards could move in on the commander "I believe this is goodbye."

The generals meet in Osaka. The city itself is much larger than the Tetsu capital. Inside the palace of the Damyo, the military leaders gathered around a table. Damyo Elm spoke first "Damyo Oak acts without honor. He killed many good men, in his obsession to rule. We must put an end to this disgrace."
The assembled generals, the majority Osakan nodded in agreement. The Tetsu generals could see further down the table was the Damyo from Edo, his expression neutral, but also nodding in agreement.

Qembri decides to allow the missionary to perform his ceremony. If such a being as this sea god did exist it would be prudent to accord him respect - Arqarqariqo was a coastal city with a fantastic port location. The hardwood trees nearby made excellent boats as well.

The Canberran commander decides to return back to his home city after having captured barbarians. He offers to take someone with him to establish relations.

The missionary, whose name turns out to be Carlson, performs his ceremony at the beach. Choosing a windy day for the occasion he stands at the edge of the water and starts preying aloud to Hyphoon, God of the Sea and Wind. He then beckons Qimbri forward. The missionary turns to the water and starts chanting. The water starts to flow towards the priest carrying a large fish "He's given us a sign of acceptance. Now we must share his gift among us. Do you, the leader of this city and the land accept the gift?"

A knife is handed to the leader to cut the fish for the individuals gathered.

The Osakan Damyo steps in front of the assembled coalition "Oak has no honor and must be stopped. I suggest invading his Island when the moon is full. Here is my suggestion: I'll come from here [points to the northern portion of Shikoku], the Tetsu will come from here [south] and Edo will come from here [east]. We'll meet at the capital in five days time."

Elm looks around the room from approvement. The Edo Damyo stands "What happens to Oak? We want him alive in Edo!"

The room quickly turns into a shouting match...

With the discovery of the Qanberran city-state and the contact with Zeeland, Arqariqo quickly realizes it is not alone. Qembri, after the festivities, commissions scouting parties armed with bows to go forth and map the nearby land. Their priorities are as follows:

Investigate Qanberra and assess its strengths and weaknesses, as it may be a threat.
Establish formal lines of diplomatic interaction with any other city-states that may be present
Investigate possible mineral deposits.
