Jeff threw a salute. "Aaaaaalrighty! Yang, Nora, Nick, you're melee tanks, get up here and break its face off! Ruby, you're fast and that scythe looks like it can do some work, you're kite! Keep its attention off people who aren't stupid good at dodging!"

He then pointed Advent of Thunder straight down. When it fired, it blew a ten-foot crater into the earth - and launched Jeff straight up towards the platform. "SCREAMIN' EAGLES!" Or, more accurately, at the wall beside the platform where another rocket jump landed him in place upon it, Advent rapidly reconfiguring back into melee form.

"Well this has been fun, I'm going to go kick a giant scorpion. " Kon says before bolting off in the direction of the dark stalker.

The giant Grimm lazily lumbered in its spot as it swung a massive fist at Jeff, but its strikes went wide as shots from Mark's riffle slammed into the arm, blowing it apart and giving Jeff some time to strike.

The scorpion however, put up a bit more of a fight. Its armor seemed to block every blow Pryyha, Jaune and Ren could throw at it and its pincers kept them at a distance. It reared its hind tail back before striking it straight at Kon "Watch out Kon!" Jaune shouted.

The rocket-jumping swordsman slammed his serrated blade into the spot where its arm had once been, immediately converting it to railgun form and discharging it straight into the hole for even more damage.

Kon heard the rush of wind the tail made, and leaped out of the way of the poisonous attacker, over the scorpion and onto the ground next to his allies. "Thanks for the heads up, what did I miss?"

"I got this sword... and this shield... not much really." Jaune admitted.

Pyrrha wordlessly brandished her spear and shield while Ren reloaded his pistols "We don't have many heavy hitters." Ren commented.

"Then we need to find it's weak point." Pyrrha says, she glances at Kon, was she silently asking him for a plan?

"Ok, we need to get that thing on it's back, Jaune, you and I will attack from the front, I'll use my staff to flip it over like a pancake, and then Pyrrha can knock him down a few pegs.Blake, Ren, make sure that any Grimm that try to join the party receive a warm welcome. Everyone ready?" Kon asks, the tip of Oto glowing a bright, angry red.

Apparently, so was the scorpion as it charged the group forcing them to scatter before taking a swing at Kon.

"Kon dodge!"

"Piccolo? When did you get here?"

"What?!"

"Less questions more focus woman!"

Kon ducked away from the scorpion's claws, taking advantage of the missed attack, Kon thrusts OTo forward, sending out a blast of sound in the beast's face.

Jeff was pretty sure he'd get like ninety percent of the experience when this thing was dead, because he kept tearing at its shoulder joint waiting for his allies to show up and they weren't doing it. Oh god, it was like Overwatch all over again - well, except here he's all-powerful and holding back to keep from blowing his cover.

And just like Overwatch, the help comes in just when Jeff thought they were useless. Ruby zipped it, swinging her scythe in several wild arcs to get it's attention. It took a swing at her, but her speed got her to safety faster than the beast could even blink. With it distracted, Yang jumped up right to the face of the behemoth, sending several rocket powered punches straight into its face. The beast swatted her away just in time to meet the business end of Nora's hammer.

The grenade launcher turned smashing weapon discharged a single round, causing the monster to begin falling off the edge. At this point, Wiess' platform started to dissipate so Mark sent several shots into the cliff side, sending rocks cascading down on the group so they have foot holds to jump out. The girls jumped from one rock to another and landed on the cliff side next to Mark and Weiss.

"I think this is going well." Mark commented.

"Shut.... up." Wiess pleaded between breaths.

"First order of business when we get back, give you a sense of humor."

A crash from the end of the cliff caused all first year hopefuls to look in awe. The behemoth was on solid ground in front of them. Mark reloaded his riffle and changed it into its halberd form "Jeff, plan fuck it up till it can't breath anymore?"

"Langu-."

"TIME AND A PLACE WOMAN!"

Jeff didn't bother with footstooling off the falling rocks, instead opting for recreating his hard-light wings he'd used earlier to glide down, spin and execute a three-point landing lifted directly from the Falcon in the MCU.

"He's got a point, Weiss. Believe me, there are plenty of things to complain about regarding him before you get to swearing." Before she could respond Jeff rocket-jumped straight at the tree-thing's face, swinging Advent in a broad stroke to cleave into and through its armored faceplate and into the flesh behind it.

The weapon did it's intended purpose and cleaved through the armor like it was paper. For the first time that day, Jeff saw the blood of Grimm spill onto the ground. Yang and Ruby rushed in to get some hits in as well, but compared to Jeff's strikes and Mark's riffle shots, they weren't doing much. Except for Nora who was peppering the beast with things that exploded.

On the other side of things, Kon's sound blast flipped the scorpion onto it's back, allowing the three faster members to attack it's soft underbelly. Their weapons cut through the thin plates but it simply rolled over before shooting some liquid at the group.

Jeff used his strike's momentum to flip him up and onto the thing's back, raising his blade high in the air before bringing it straight down.

Kon plants Oto in the ground, and fires once more, sending him upwards away from the liquid.

It looked like it was going to be a clean hit, until the Goliath split itself in half to dodge Jeff's attack! His blade sailed through nothing but air and Jeff felt something hit him hard in the back sending him flying. Mark dropped his riffle and grabbed his friend out of the air, setting him down next to him and Weiss "Ok," Mark said "I didn't know it could do that. And before you call bullshit, I really didn't know."

The acid water passed harmlessly under Kon and the shockwave had an added bonus. It shook the ground to the point that the scorpion's legs sank into the stone and became stuck.

"It's open take it out." Jaune shouted to Kon.

"With pleasure, cover your eras ya'll." Kon calls, dashing forward underneath the scorpion, pointing Oto point-blank to the beast's underside, and fires the most sound he has ever charged into Oto.

The shock wave wasn't just deafening, it was destructive beyond belief. The shock wave emanated from Oto sent force vibrations through the entire frame of the scorpion. It rattled again and again until its body couldn't take it. The Grimm split itself apart from the shear force of the vibration, digging itself its own grave in the process.

On the other end, Nick slammed his hands together before placing them on the ground. Hands of rock jutted out of the ground, grabbing the great Grimm and holding it down "Take it down!" he ordered.

"Way to finally do something bro!" Mark shouted right before firing a charge shot straight at the Grimm's head. Yang grinned like the madwoman that she was and with flaming hair sent a barrage of punches into the Grimm. Nora hit it with a hammer. Ruby danced circles around it with her scythe. Jeff, well the thing was near dead at this point so Jeff could do whatever.

"Whatever" in this case turned out to be a slash with Advent of Thunder, followed by Jeff's Semblance crowbaring the thing's split skull apart and ultimately decapitating it in about the most brutal manner possible under the circumstances.

Kon, after his final attack, nearly collapsed from the amount of aura he funneled into the attack, leaning on Oto, he kneels to the ground.

"Is... is everyone ok?" He asks, trying to shake off the ringing in his ears.
