The Breton was looking around, wondering what on Nirn that could have been. The Dunmer looked down at Van. "That was a noise."

Rees-Haat's body shifted before slowly getting up. When he heard the noise the Argonian went stiff in fear.

"Dang it." Rees-Haat said as he cracked his neck. He looked at everybody and smiled. "Apperently someone upstairs doesn't want me to go yet." He said jokingly as he walked to the group. He chuckles as he sees the stunned faces. "Well what did I miss?" He asked before noticing the Brenton's injured throat. "Well that mustn't be oomfertable."

[Flagmauth]

The Breton found that extremely irritating. "How can you find this funny?!" she demanded, her voice trembling with simultaneous fear of her impending death and anger at the lizard.

"Death doesn't scare me anymore." Rees-Haat says as he turns to the Imperial. "You think death even wants me?" Rees ask the Imperial. "It sent me back, without fear of death." Rees said with a smile. "Why not have a healer that met death and return? Could be useful if I had the right herbs." He says as he smiles.

[A Blind Guy]

"Will you shut up already?" demands Van to the now very irritating Argonian.

[Flagmauth]

"Don't waste your breath, lizard." The Breton said savagely, dropping her gaze to the ground again. "The Empire and the Divines have both abandoned us."

"Which is predicated on the Divines existing in the first place, which they don't."

"Oh, stuff it, elf."

"Even death abandoned me. I've got nowhere to go. But one of my main concerns are the noises and your fates." Rees-Haat says with sadness.

[Flagmauth]

"That was two concerns." The Dunmer looked irritated that Rees couldn't count. Ostensibly it had been a mistake, but the Dunmer was either unwilling or unable to give him the benefit of the doubt.

"Alright mister correct. It's my two main concerns." Rees says as he glares at the Dunmer.

[Flagmauth]

"My name is Bzothan the Final, Last of the Dwemer. Not 'mister correct.'"

[Sagansoul001]

"The final idiot more like." Rees says under his breath.

[gaara]

Valtyr waiting his turn for the choping block looked up and prayed a silent prayer hoping something would save him from this crused world.

[Sheogorath]

The guards start murmuring about the noise, before Tullius cuts in.

"It's nothing, carry on."

The female Imperial salutes him, "Yes, General Tullius," before turning to a priestess,
"Give them their last rites."

The priestess begins speaking.

"As we commend your souls to Aetherius, blessings of the Eight Divines upon you, for you are the salt and earth of Nirn, our beloved...."

At which point a Stormcloak steps forward, interrupting her, "For the love of Talos, shut up and lets get this over with," before walking up to the chopping block."

The priestess glares at him, but states, "As you wish."

The Imperial captain steps up, pushing him onto his knees, his head over the bucket.

As the headsman raises his axe, the Stormcloak speaks once more,


"My ancestors are smiling at me Imperials, can you say the same?"


before the axe falls, cutting his head off with a sickening crack.

[Flagmauth]

Bzothan looked utterly unfazed by this, while the Breton girl looked slightly ill and squeezed her eyes shut, cringing. She muttered a hurried prayer under her breath to whatever chose to receive it. The Divines seemed to have given up on saving them, but maybe one of the Daedra, like Nocturnal, would help her get out of this.

[Sheogorath]

The Stormcloaks curse at the Imperials, while the townsfolk cheer for the death of the Stormcloaks.

The Stormcloak from before mutters near them, "As fearless in death as he was in life."

The Imperial Captain sneers and jabs her finger at Ilysa.

"Next, the Breton!"

Just as she does though, another roar is heard in the distance, seemingly closer this time.

[gaara]

Valtyrs eyes went wide with hate as he saw the Bretons face he wanted to kill all the guards and let his new found friends go.

[A Blind Guy]

Van stares ahead motionless and quiet, silently praying to Talos.

"Isn't it customary to get a last wish?" Do'krin asked.

[Flagmauth]

"Oh gods..." The girl looked positively sick with fear, unwilling or unable to step forward; it was difficult to tell which.

Bzothan snorted. "What gods? Surely if your gods existed they would save you? Or maybe you - none of you - aren't as innocent as you claim."

[Sheogorath]

The Imperial captain's face twists into one of anger.

"Why should a wish from one such as..."

"Captain, enough!" Tullius says, cutting her off.

She backs down, clearly upset.

"Assuming it is reasonable," Tullius continues, "No promises though, there are some things I simply can't do"

[Flagmauth]

The Breton looked stunned at Tullius' intervention. "I...Don't let me be buried here. I want to be buried in High Rock. In Daggerfall." If she couldn't weasel her way out of dying she at least wasn't going to be laid to rest in this frozen wasteland of a province.

"General Tullius, stop this! I beg you, hear our cries. We have done no wrong, with no crimes committed against your Imperial Law it would be like grabbing a spectator from the crowd and sentensing them to die." Rees-Haat says as he sweeps his arm towards the people watching the execution. "We have done nothing against your Law, we are not your enemy. We could be allies, all you would have to do is give the matter some thought." He said as he turned to the Stormcloaks with disgust. "You can send the Stormcloaks to the block while you think about our situation."

"Do'krin would much like to have something sweet like candy before he goes," Do'krin said.

[Sheogorath]

"As for your burial situations, it is customary for those that aren't from Skyrim to be buried in their homeland, unless otherwise requested," Tullius states, "So no issue there."

"As for you," he states, turning to Rees-Haat, "If you aren't to be executed, then why are you on the list?"

[Flagmauth]

Wait a second... The Breton stepped forward towards Tullius. "He's not! None of us are! We're not on that list!" She turned and faced the russet-haired Nord who held the list in question. "You saw it, you have to tell him!"
