Cecilia started saying something to the others, only for Schwarzer Regen's thrusters to drown her out. Glaring after Laura in annoyance, she turned back to Rin and Charlotte only to find their IS' lifting off as well.

"Absolutely no respect for nobility these days..." she muttered, deploying Blue Tears and lifting off herself.

The sights weren't much to talk about since they were going so fast. It took all of 4 minutes to get to the middle of the outback, but no one could see any base

"Charlotte." Laura said. One advantage of the four having worked closely together at the Academy was that they generally knew how to work as part of a team, without wasting time with explanations. Even Cecilia, of all people.

As such, the German and French pilots positioned themselves over the nearest point of the sphere, Rin and Cecilia took cover, as close as the flat terrain would allow. The two pilots breaking in materialized their railgun and twin rocket launchers, before firing all three devices straight at the top of the spherical shape.

Laura had hoped for a better idea of whether the halls were big enough for Schwarzer Regen - her and Charlotte's attack had blown out the lighting nearby so in the darkness it was impossible to tell. At Mentor's command, she jumped at once, making a three-point landing in the middle of the hallway and then immediately checking both sides for hostiles.

"Our entry is clear." Laura said. This prompted the other three to jump through as well, materializing their IS units as Schwarzer Regen materialized around the German.

"Ve must split up, teams of two each."

"They haven't sent anyone to investigate the breach. I'm starting to think this might be a trap." Charlotte mused, casting a watchful eye down one of the hallways.

"What now?" Rin wondered aloud.
