Though annoyed, Laura did not contradict Tatenashi. The group chose a hallway at random and moved down it - Laura at the front, Rin following her, Charlotte at the rear and Cecilia in the center.

The hallways looked to be in military faction, straight forward and signs detailing each hall perfectly. One way had the "Engine" room, the other had "Control"

As the girls went through the halls they noticed a few things. All doors were open and the contents of each room where nothing at all. They past through many hallways like this with the doors all open until they found the engine room

All of them looked for important enginey things that would not work if perforated with assorted projectiles and energy blasts.

They found a lot of those kinds of things. But they seemed to be connected to short conniver belts

Rin's attacks made quick work of the door, it just that there was nothing after that. It was like the whole room had been separated from the rest of the base

They were all still underground but the door lead to nothing, no tunnel or pathway from whence they came from

The four pilots deployed their melee weapons (except Cecilia because she didn't actually have one) and went to work on the cave-in.

They easily cut through the earth but they all quickly relised that they were pretty deep and needed to hurry up
