"I have a question. " Sterling says, sitting back down

"Why are Gehenna so damn powerful? it seems to me like everyone above a power threshold goes and joins them instead of just being a reasonable hunter."

"It's not everyone," Ozpin corrects, "A good number of Gehenna's members were hunters that, while exceptional, were nowhere near the greatest of us."

"Somehow, they can turn ordinary men and woman into one man armies." Jason explains, "How they do it, we don't know."

"All we really know is that certain individuals are chosen and given power that allows them to rival the greatest Hunters in history. It's less than everyone above a power joins up, and more that they cheat, chose wisely, and give convincing reasons for people to support them."

Jason huffs.

"Yeah, really good reasons."

Tyson shifts in his seat and raises a hand, making Ozpin sigh.

"Yes?"

"Sorry, quick question, how did Ghoul and Ladon know Jason?"

Tyson turned his head towards Jason, who shifted under the collective gaze.

"Jason was approached by Gehenna to join before," Stephon explains, "In addition, Ladon is his brother."

Sienna wasn't quite sure how to respond to that, shuffling in place uncomfortably and averting her gaze. Jason's brother was a superpowered murderous nutcase. That must make for some awkward family dinners.

Having no further questions she glanced at Nisha, who had so far said nothing. What was she thinking about?

Nisha was for the most part just standing there, arms crossed like she was hugging herself and staring at theground as she was replaying the memory of what had happened.Anything to perhaps help in the future but proved futile attempt.

Ozpin looks over all of his students, and his eyes cloud over as he can't seem to meet their stares.

"I am so sorry that this happened to you, your entire team is allowed three days to yourselves. No classes, tests, or homework will be held against you. Should you have any questions of Gehenna, my office will always be open. Failing that, Professor Green will listen to anything you have to say, and keep everything confidential."

Nisha snapped out of it when she heard that they were all going to have the rest of the time off. Nodding her head slowly she turned and left the place.

The airship drops down, letting Nisha hop out the second it touches the ground. Tyson nods and slowly follows Nisha out. When they were a good distance away, he puts a hand on her shoulder, stopping her and forcing her to turn around.

"You ok?" he asks.

Stephon goes up to his son and gently puts a hand on his shoulder.

"I know a leader shouldn't leave his team... but your mother's been worried sick."

He glances back to Opal and Virmir.

"And I'm sure Opal would appreciate if you stayed around."

Looking at the onlook, Ozpin looks to Sienna.

"Miss Drake, would you walk with me for a moment?"

He was framed as a question, but a headmaster of a hunter's academy doesn't need to ask.

Nisha wasnt looking up at Tyson, just staring at his chest as she slowly processed the question he asked her, "I'm ok. Im in the mood for...dumplings. Yeah...Dumplings. Im going to go get some." She grabs his and gently pull it off her shoulder so that she can continue on her way

Ozpin gestures to the hallway and heads down without waiting for Sienna to follow. After a few minutes of walking and running into no other students, the headmaster glances back at her.

"How did your partner fair, with the attack?"

She stayed silent as she stared at nothing in particular. Just a blank stare as she nods once, "If...that's alright with you."

Ozpin nods.

"It was quite the experience, one that we're all happy to see you get out of. But the fact still stands that out of all the possible targets, you were chosen to be used as a hostage."

He glances down at Sienna.

"I wish no offence Miss Drake, but among your team, you are the last one I would suspect to be seen as someone of importance to an organization such as Gehenna."

"It's only aura exhaustion, she'll be fine after a good night's rest." Stephon breaths, "Unfortunately, that's not the worst of our problems."

Sienna shrugged, seemingly unbothered by the idea that she wasn't as important as her teammates. "Jason said they were freaking crazy - which I gotta agree with - so why should they make any kind of sense?"

Before he could even breath, the door exploded into shrapnel. A second later, Sterling's aura flared as something smashed into him.

It started crying.

Oh, it's his mom.

"Well if the staff of Shade think that it's good enough, I think you'll like it." Tyson smiles.

Sienna

Ozpin smiles, chuckling softly.

"I wish it were only that simple. I knew, personally, some of the previous known members of Gehenna. They were kind, thoughtful, and some of the greatest people I have had the pleasure of knowing."

His smile turns slightly sour.

"While they act the fool, they aren't. Never make that mistake Miss Drake. I did, once."

Sterling had a brief heart attack which subsided quickly after he heard the familiar voice of his mother.

"It's so good to see you mother." he chokes out.

"They can be crazy and smart at the same time, can't they?" Sienna pointed out, though she didn't sound terribly sure. "What if they're just doing this to mess with our heads, make us think there's something going on with me when there isn't?"
