Suddenly, an enormous metallic hand crashes through the edge of ceiling of the center from the outside and with a audible groan, lifts the roof of the center up. Seven glowing red eyes peer in, with a metallic roar coming from the strange...creature?

Aaron falls backward, a look of terror on his face. The gym leaders, especially Watson, share his expression.

[Doomwing]

Luna groans. "Nurse Joy is Going to Kill me!"

[Sheogorath]

"I think we have much bigger problems then that right now!" Aaron shouts, diving behind the desk as bits of the ceiling fall into the center.

[President WIN]

Venus whips out her pokédex, although this sounds like a giant registeel. Venus also asks her pokémon to do damage control as of right now, in other words, make sure no one dies.

[Doomwing]

Luna dives under the desk and returns all but Pichu. She hugs Pichu to her chest. Pichu hugs her back. Luna Gulps.

[Sheogorath]

The "creature" pushes the roof off completely, and crashes through the wall, revealing it is...



(Watson)

"Oh no.....they got Registeel..."

Watson continues to back away, horrified at the sight of a Shadow Registeel.

[President WIN]

"Well then, what are we going to do about this?" Venus asks, unnervingly calm.

[Sheogorath]

"What makes you think we should do anything about it?" Aaron pops his head up above the desk, "We need to get out of here before it actually tries to kill us."

[President WIN]

"I think that we should do something about it so it doesn't kill us. Your suggestion is called running. It sounds like a good idea right about now."

[Sheogorath]

"In that case we, need another way out, I doubt we could get out the normal way. Onix!"

Aaron brings out Onix behind the desk,

"Use tackle to take out the wall!"

Onix crashes through the wall, opening a way out.

Suddenly, the Shadow Registeel starts gathering black-purple energy in front of it's central eye, with a ball of the energy growing by the second.

"Hit the deck!"

Aaron quickly recalls Onix before diving behind the desk, head to the ground. The gym leaders have also gotten behind the desk.

[Doomwing]

Luna remembers something. "Use Fire type Moves! it is the Only way We can Stop it!" she yells.

[Sheogorath]

Aaron tries to say something, but is cut off when the Shadow Registeel unleashes a powerful blast, destroying the back wall of the center. It lets out another metallic roar, and rips the desk out of the ground.

"I think we should be more worried about getting away, but we need some way to keep it off our tails. Togetic, Larvesta, go!"

Larvesta and Togetic come flying out, ready to fight.

"Togetic, metronome! Larvesta, ember!"

Searing Shot

Both Togetic and Larvesta hit the Registeel with bursts of fire, Togetic's seeming to hurt it more.

However, the Registeel only stumbles a bit, before retaliating, slashing across the center. Togetic and Larvesta go flying, while Aaron takes the hit of the attack, pinned against the wall by Registeel's claw.

[Flagmauth]

"Litwick, use Ember! Golett, Mega Punch!, Snivy, Vine Whip! Help him!" Dawn shouted. Her Pokémon eagerly went on the attack, trying to make the Registeel drop Aaron.

[Doomwing]

"Pichu! Use Thundershock!" Luna yells as she sends out Joltick and Yanma. "Rotom use Confuse Ray! Joltick Use Thunderwave! And Yanma… Use Tackle!"

[Sheogorath]

The attacks barely manage to pull/push Registeel, causing Aaron to slide down from the wall. His side is torn and bleeding and he appears to have gone unconscious from the pain.

Meanwhile the Registeel goes beserk from the large number of attacks hitting it. It swings its arms around, slamming Pichu, Yanma, and Snivy into the walls. It tries to hit Golett, Rotom, and Litwick, but finds its attacks just don't seem to affect them. Breaking from the confusion, it charges at Luna and Dawn, claws reaching out to strike them. It nearly hits them when suddenly...

An Aggron and Magmortar appear in front of Registeel, holding back its arms inches from Dawn and Luna, while an Excadrill hold back the body of Registeel. Blaine, Byron, and Clay step forward.

"Morty, Wattson! Get the kids out of here!"

Morty runs over, grabbing Aaron, and staunching his wound with his scarf. Wattson urges Luna, Venus, and Dawn to get moving.

[Doomwing]

Luna Picks up Pichu and Yanma. She calls for Rotom and Joltick who has been on her shoulder this whole time. "Well... I lost my only Job now..."

[Sheogorath]

Morty walks over carrying Aaron, currently wrapped up with his scarf.

"Something tells me this isn't the only town being attacked right now."

Morty sends out his Drifblim, while Wattson sends out a Magneton. Morty climbs on, still holding Aaron.

"Let's head to Ecruteak until we can get him fixed up."

[President WIN]

Venus takes a moment to admire the Magmortar and Magneton and Drifblim, "I have got to get me one of those." Then she turns to the others, "You start, I'll follow. I want to see how my pokémon work against Registeel." She then turns to her pokémon, releasing all of them. Venus even sends out Heatmor, although she won't have him much longer.

"Beldum, use takedown! Pawniard, use Leer, then psycho cut! Solosis use reflect for everybody, then use psywave. Heatmor, burn Sigilyph (Sigilyph stands there and let Heatmor burn a spot on its wing), then use Ember. Sigilyph, use psycho shift to transfer your burn to Registeel. Then use Psywave!"

[Flagmauth]

Dawn recalls her Pokémon and gets the heck out of the way of both Registeel and Venus' Pokémon.

[Sheogorath]

The Registeel, burning, roars managing to dislodge the Leader's pokemon, sending them into the walls. Seeing the Heatmor, it grabs it with it's claws before slamming it over and over into the ground. It throws the Heatmor into the Sigilyph and Solosis before crashing into Pawniard with a powerful kick. Finally, it charges up another blast of shadow energy, aiming to, from the looks of things, finish off and possibly kill Heatmor.

[President WIN]

(Wait, what about my Sigilyph's reflect, wouldn't that protect everyone form physical attacks for a while? Oh well, not that important.)

"No! Beldum, use takedown one more time on this thing before we get out of here. Everybody, hit it with everything you've got one more time."

After an attack meant to stagger the Registeel and confuse it by drawing its attention to a number of diffferent places at once, assuming the attacks didn't give her any reason to hope for a victory any time soon, Venus recalls her pokémon, starting with the Heatmor, and ending without recalling Beldum. Then she and Beldum race after the others.

[Sheogorath]

(That's just the thing: Shadow Pokemon are often significantly stronger than their non-shadow counterparts, for several reasons.

1. Shadow Moves are super effective against ALL other non-shadow Pokemon.
2. The Pokemon that become Shadow Pokemon are often the more powerful of their species.
3. Shadow Pokemon don't hold back in battle, going as far as to even hurt trainers as you have seen, sometimes entering what is known as Hyper Mode, which strengthens them, but makes them nigh-impossible to control.

In other words, your reflect did help, it just didn't seem like it because of how bad your guys were hurt. Trust me, your guys would have been far worse off without it.)

Wattson's Magneton pulls the group on, while Morty's Drifblim carries Aaron and Morty into the air. Below, you can see the Pokemon Center erupt into flames as the Shadow Registeel and Gym Leaders battle.

[Doomwing]

Luna Sighs and Hugs her Pichu to her chest. Suddenly she gets an Idea. "I know of a place where they will never find us!" She says with a smile on her face.

[Flagmauth]

"Where?" Dawn looked fairly doubtful that Team Rocket wouldn't find them pretty much anywhere in the region.
