Luna looks over at Dawn. "There's the Pokemon Center up there. Your lucky I work part time helping Nurse Joy out."

[Flagmauth]

Dawn nodded, too busy trying not to drop the Golett to reply.

[President WIN]

(So, I join the story already in progress. As this is Pokémon Noir, I shall inject dramatic clash with society into it as well.

My character is the illegitimate daughter of Fantina and Byron, and is therefore the half-brother of Roark.

Her name is Venus.

She is a lesbian, though you probably won't neccessarily find that out for a while. Her ancestry might not come up either.

She was adopted by the Stone family, of Devon Corporation and Champion fame, and is now independently wealthy, and so is seeking thrills as a pokemon trainer.

She's in the pokécenter when Dawn and Luna rush in, and so sees the rare pokémon and decides to befriend Dawn and Luna.

(Let's see, Dawn is 10, Aaron is 14, and Luna is 17, so I'll be 16, I guess. I might change that later, so don't count on it.)

[Flagmauth]

[Actually, for purposes of the RP (and because Pokemon was always horribly unrealistic in that respect anyway) Dawn is 14 also. But anyway. Post in character.]

[President WIN]

(I'll try to, but I don't have any expierience as a sixteen year old rich lesbian from an illegitimate union, so this may be a bit distorted based on my views. If anyone knows such a person, please introduce me to her, I'd love to do some "character research.")

[President WIN]

(Nothing to post about yet. Y'all all know her history. She won't start reacting till everyone else gets here. Right now she's just bored. You even know she's looking for some Ralts.)

[I'm assuming since Dave hasn't posted that we made it to or close to the Pokemon Center.]

[President WIN]

(o.k.)

Venus runs over to the rare pokémon and the two people with girls holding it. "Oh my goodness, what happened?!" She exclaims, checking out the golet, and the older girl, and the other pokémon with them.

[Flagmauth]

"We found this Golett back that way" Dawn jerked her head to indicate the direction, "in an alley. It's injured." She was visibly straining to keep Golett off the ground, as was Litwick (and presumable Luna and her Pokemon, but that's a little too close to puppeteering for me).

[President WIN]

"Here, let me help." Venus helps lift the pokémon onto the counter. "Nurse Joy, get this pokémon help, now!"

[Sheogorath]

It's at this point that Aaron walks in, twigs in his hair and pokeballs in hand. Seeing the Golett, he walks over, brushing the twigs out of his hair.

"Woah, what happened to it?"

[Flagmauth]

"We don't know." Dawn explained. "I found it like this in an alley a couple blocks away."

[Doomwing]

"Just another day In Goldenrod City." Luna chuckles. Joltick looks up from her shoulder and reinforces. "Joltick!"

Pichu looks over at Joltick. "Pichu!"

[Sheogorath]

Aaron slides his pokeballs into his backpack, and helps the Golett over to the Nurse Joy, who also heals his pokemon. Just as he was about to talk to the group, however, a trio of rocket grunts walks in.

"Well well, it seems we found our missing test subject" one of them sneers.

"Hand him over, we will take goooooood care of him."

Aaron reaches for Togepi's pokeball, ready if it turns into a fight.

[Flagmauth]

Dawn positioned herself defiantly between the grunts and the Golett. "You'll have to get through me and Litwick first." Her Pokemon jumped off the counter and stood by its Trainer, looking angrily at the grunts.

[President WIN]

Venus walks angrily up to the grunts, dropping the pokéball that houses beldum on the way, releasing him. "I have no idea who the hell you think you are," she says poking the middle grunt in the chest, "but you look like arrogant trash to me, and you're not taking that poor injured pokémon ANYWHERE!" She says with finality.

Beldum is hovering at her side by this time, and she addresses the still surprised grunts who are by now (presumably) reaching for their pokéballs. "Oh no, I know how scum like you work. You try and use innocent pokémon to do your bidding and you end up getting your pokémon and ours hurt! Well, I won't stand for it! Beldum, use take down on these buffoons!"

[Doomwing]

Luna looks over at Pichu. Pichu nods its head.

"Your Reign of Terror in Goldenrod City is over Team Rocket!" Luna says. Pichu Leaps up next to Beldum. Luna walks up next to Venus.

[Sheogorath]

The Rocket Grunts duck as the Beldum flies over their heads.

"It seems we will have to use force."

The Rocket Grunts send out a Solosis, Heatmor, and a Pawniard.

Aaron sends out Togepi and Pineco.

"Protect the Golett, we'll take care of this. Togepi, metronome! Pineco, Bug Bite the Solosis!"

Pineco strikes the Solosis, staggering it, but not finishing it, while Togepi uses...

Sacred Sword

Togepi flies forward, slashing the Heatmor with it's horns, sending the Heatmor flying into the wall.

"Not bad," mutters one of the grunts.

"Pawniard, use Psycho Cut on the Pineco!"
"Heatmor, Incinerate that Beldum!"
"Solosis, use Psywave on that Togepi!"

[President WIN]

(What are the rules for evolution in this forum? I like beldum, but it is a one move pokémon, so I'd like to evolve it as soon as possible.)

"This is exactly what I was hoping to avoid. Oh well. Time to teach these grunts a lesson. Beldum! Use takedown on the Solosis!" Beldum pulls out mid-takedown, and turns around to ram into the Solosis. Then he flies over Venus' shoulder again, awaiting orders.

[Sheogorath]

(Just battle with it a lot. I'll judge about when it should evolve. With a triple battle like this, it would get a lot of exp, so it will be close)

The Solosis flinches, missing Togepi. The Heatmor, however, hits Beldum on the edges, slightly hurting it.

(Aaron)
"Pineco, protect!"

The Pineco shields itself just before the Psycho Cut hits, blocking the attack.

"Now, tackle that Heatmor!"

The Pineco slams into the Heatmor, which seems to be doing badly.

"Finish the Heatmor off Togepi, Metronome!"

Togepi runs up to the Heatmor, wiggling it's fingers.

SonicBoom

A powerful shock wave blasts Heatmor, sending it into one the grunts. It collapses, fainted.

"Tsk, I told you it was too weak." One of the grunts says.

"Solosis, Reflect!"

A wall of light appears in front of the Grunt's pokemon.

"Pawniard, Torment!"

Pawniard's eyes glow, looking at Togepi. It begins to speak gibberish, annoying Togepi.(Prevents the use of the same move twice in a row.)

[President WIN]

(Okay, thanks for the info.)

"Beldum, let Pawniard know you're here. Take Down!"

[Sheogorath]

As Beldum is about to hit Pawniard, it hits the reflect wall, losing some speed. When it does hit Pawniard, said Pawniard looks a bit hurt, but not quite finished.

'Pawniard, Fury Cutter!"

The Pawniard slashes Beldum, hurting it a bit.

(Aaron)
"Togepi, Sweet Kiss!"

Togepi sends a small angelic shot at Pawniard, confusing it.

"End this, metronome!"

Shadow Force

Togepi disappears for a second, then reappears, crashing through the Pawniard and Solosis, sending both flying.

Battle Over

(Aaron)

"And that's the end of that...?"

Togepi begins to glow, changing, transforming, evolving into....

Togetic

Turning to Venus, then the group, Aaron says, "We better heal our Pokemon. By the way, I didn't catch your names."

(By this time, the Nurse has taken Golett into the back to be healed.)
