Mark nods yes "I kind of want to go back to Lyoko. Call me crazy but swinging a sword like a badass was pretty fun"

All the teachers nod before the group leaves and arrive at the factory without meeting any Hydra that Xana warned them about.

"Xana doesn't lie, ever. Something's up." Odd says as he tensed up and looked around. Jeremy frowned as the group got to the center of the bridge.

"If anybody was going to ambush us Odd, it would be now." Jeremy scolded before loud serpent hissing was heard from both sides of the bridge and the factory entrance. "Oh man."

"You just had to jinx it." Aelita says as she ran to a sliding hatch and opened it up to be greeted by a large snake face. "Ah!" She screamed as she closed the door. "We're trapped!"

"Ok so were on a bridge with no way out. Any ideas?"

"Einstein?" Odd calls out to Jeremy.

"Working on it!" Jeremy shout as two serpent heads appear near the back of the bridge and another snake head lowers from the factory door. "We are completely surrounded by monsters we haven't faced before, and here we don't have any weapons. In all, odds of survival are not very good." He says as the sound of flapping wings caught Odd's attention.

"Does anyone else hear Hornets nearby?" Odd asked before five Hornets flew out of the skylight in the roof of the factory. "Oh great, just what we need. More monsters."

Alistar had been standing and thinking quietly. Oddly enough, he hadn't panicked like everyone else. It was like he'd temporarily shut out the world, only focusing on the problems at hand as if they'd been given to him written on a piece of paper. It doubled as a coping mechanism for Alistar, as he heard Petra mention jumping in the river. "If we don't have any other option than death, then I'd rather be wet."

"Let's go, then - jump!" For having suggested the idea, Petra wasn't terribly enthusiastic about being the first one to act on it.

Alistar was the first to do so, leaping from the bridge and pencil-diving into the water. Aelita jumped after him, Jeremy and Odd waiting for Mark and Petra to go first.

The mosters seemed to stay where they were, there only function being to keep them out of the factory

Well, they weren't following them. Petra started swimming after Mark, heading for the riverbank.

The group huddled at one of the banks of the river but heard the noise of wings. As they quickly look up they find themselves surrounded by the Hornets. Oddly enough the monsters don't attack and they didn't have the same symbols on their heads like the snakes they had-

"That's the Eye of Xana! Why would it still be there if we destroyed him?" Jeremy asked as looked around.

"Maybe old Dark William is in control now." Odd said as the group watched the flying Hornets.

"You may be right Odd." Aelita says carefully as she watches one Hornet.

"W-what do we do?" Petra asked, staring up at the nearest Hornet.

"We go back to the factory." Aelita says like it was obvious.

"What?! Her fellow teachers exclaimed.

" have you forgotten about the Scaly Freak Show we got out of?" Odd asked.

"Xana's monsters don't like these new monsters. Let's use it to our advantage." Aelita says as she walked up to a Hornet and put her hand on its head. The monster didn't attack nor did the others but Jeremy was Furious.

"No." He said in a cold way. "We can't trust them."

" Not unless you can teleport." Odd says defeatedly as a Hornet bumped into his shoulder with its head.

"Yes but we can't get close to it unless we have wings." Odd said as the hornet near him slapped him with its tail. "Ouch! What?!"

"We don't have wings but they do. They get us to the roof then to the factory floor." Aelita says but Jeremy stepped forward.

"No. We find another way. These monsters are our enemies. No matter who made them." Jeremy said as Odd turned to the kids.

"What do you think about this?" Odd asked before Jeremy turned to look at Odd confused. "Should we trust them?"
