As much at Thom wanted to help the shaking of Ilyssa made her excellently sculpted posterior go up and down. Needless to say, the nord was mesmerized.

That did it. Ilyssa might not be able to reach his neck...but Vaninir was only wearing light leather and cloth, and his arm was a target she couldn't possibly miss. As such, she slashed open his arm, leaving a gash in the sleeve of Vaninir's armor and a nice deep cut in the flesh beneath.
Re: Skyrim Point Five: Thread 2
"Gahh!" vanniner exclaimed still keeping his hold on her but dropping her a bit to far so that she went and bopped her head on the ground.
"THere's no need to result to violence!" he proclaimed beginning to shake her a lot fiercer than before.
Unfortunately in doing so he began bleeding profusely from his new wound and decided against it. so in one great upward heave he threw her into the air and catching her bridle style before saying. "You know what you win. you have shown me the errors of my ways. You win. you can keep the shinny just leave them something in return so your not completely disrespecting the dead?" He said gently setting her down.

Ilyssa had dropped her sword when Vaninir nearly dropped her, so her first move was to retrieve it. Straightening back up and dusting herself off, she glared at the Nord. "I killed the skeletons, why don't we just say the gold and gems are payment for that?"
Re: Skyrim Point Five: Thread 2
"Deal!" Quells answers for Vaninir "now how about we get out of here. Unless of course you have more irrelevant quarrels to resolve..."

"You were there, you know how difficult it is to kill skeletons. Not to mention assumption of risk - I could have died, you know!" Ilyssa protested.

Do'krin decides that the group had spent too much time arguing over souls and gems and gold. "Do'Krin think we have more important things to worry about than bickering."

"Probably not worth going back to hand over a few coins" Quells pointed out "why don't we just keep going and we'll have Illysa promise that she won't steal from future skeletons while we are in this dump?"

"I'm not promising anything. Look, the cat is right - we came here to get that horn, we don't have time to stand around and debate this." Before Vaninir could complain about something else, the Breton walked through the next door.
The room she found herself in was an interesting one. Most of it was taken up by some sort of altar, it looked like, with a waterfall next to it. To Ilyssa it seemed as good a place as any to look for that horn. "Come on!"

Glad to finally be moving again, Quells followed Illyssa through the door. He immediately took an interest in the altar and began studying it.

Re: Skyrim Point Five: Thread 2
The two of them found themselves drawn to the altar - it had a number of words inscribed on it in that angular writing they'd seen on High Hrothgar...one of which they felt pulling at them, almost glowing in comparison to everything else as the rest of the room dimmed and all sounds faded in the sound of their heartbeat like an enormous drum pounding in their ears...
Re: Skyrim Point Five: Thread 2
Quells without much hesitation follows the tug toward the writing on the altar, stepping slowly closer to get a closer view.

Re: Skyrim Point Five: Thread 2
As they watched, they suddenly knew with stark clarity what the word written upon the wall was - just like when the Greybeards taught them Fus and Ro atop High Hrothgar.
Feim. It meant "fade" in the Dragon Tongue. Interesting. Perhaps they should try it out.

Re: Skyrim Point Five: Thread 2
Vannier joined the group again and joined them in reading the word.
"FEIM" he spoke "what does that mean?"

"Ah, the incomperable Do'Krihn has learned a new word. Why not test it?" The Kajiit says before shouting FEIM

Re: Skyrim Point Five: Thread 2
Ilyssa had the same idea and tried it out half a second later. Both of them turned into pale, ghostly versions of themselves, like translucent glowing outlines.
Re: Skyrim Point Five: Thread 2
Quells found himself the only(?) party member who'd refrained from using the shout. A little annoyed he turned to whomever stood next to him "You should take more care using unknown shouts. Do you even know how to turn yourselves back?"

Ilyssa glanced at the now-once-again-corporeal Vaninir. "Looks like it happens on its own."
