Along with him, Vance, Jaune Arc and Ruby Rose raised their hands.

Ruby looked far more excited to raise her hands than anyone else, much to her white haired partner's annoyance.

Onyx took a glance at each of them and slowly nodded.

"Yes, the four of you are perfect for your positions."

He raises a hand.

"Quick question, who are you guys again? I can't remember seeing any of you."

Ruby blinked and Vance raised an eyebrow.

"Just kidding," Onyx laughed, "I remember... one of you... I think... is there someone named Lupay in here?"

Silence met him.

His smile wavered just a bit before he slapped himself in the forehead.

"I'm an idiot, this is why we have class lists!"

He pulled out his scroll and started going through names.

"Oh, while I go through the names, can anyone tell me what aura is?"

Nisha raises her hand and before he can call her, she spoke loud enough for the class to hear, "It's what we use to fight against the Grimms?"

Onyx shrugs, "We also use swords, guns and other things to fight grimm, we don't call those aura do we? Anyone else?"

"Just our life force?" he asks.

Onyx slowly nods, "Perfectly reasonable understanding. If it's tangible, then it can be used for something? Would you be willing to give me an example?"

Onyx slowly nods his head as he reaches for his staff.

"Yes, it can do that, however,"

The professor raises the staff, and a swirling ball exploded into existence. It spun in place, distorting the air, and send shots of red, blue, green, and a hundred different colours all across the room. He then pointed the staff at Sterling, and he saw a flash, and then he felt the sting of a few strands of burning hair.

Onyx slowly lowers his staff, "It can do so much more. For your safety, your previous teachers neglected the simple fact that your aura is more than just a manifestation. It is a person will on this earth, allowing them to shape the very fate of the world how they see fit. As such, like a changing goal, aura can also be manipulated. To this day, there remain possibly infinite uses of aura that are undiscovered. In this class, I will teach you how to perform the techniques that have been discovered. Some of them will be simple tricks like the ball of light, or they can be deadly attacks that can ignore the protection of aura."

He breaks out into a huge grin.

"So whose ready to have some fun?"

Considering the circumstances, Sienna decided that she'd stay quiet rather than risk being shot at. Or whatever else Onyx meant by "fun."

As it turns out, the fun would never come. The bell rang and the students left for their next class.

In this case, it was Weapons Forging.

And you could tell just by the layout of the room that it wasn't a classroom.

It was a forge, plain and simple.

Instead of desks, small, personal dust fueled forges sat ready and waiting. At the front of the Class, Charles was working on what looked like a big gun. He glanced at everyone and smiled.

"Pick a forge and we'll get started, everyone! I just need to finish this bang machine."

"You mean the gun?"

"... well aren't you boring."

Nisha didnt understood the purpose of the weapons forging class since everyone has their own weapon,or at least she does. Still she walked over to a forge and waited for further instruction.

"Ok everyone," Charles said finishing up from behind his forge, "I bet you're wondering what the heck a mandatory weapon forging class is doing on your schedule. Welp, it goes like this, Oz got too much money from selling creates of experimental dust and he needed some way to drain the money before he had to pay more taxes."

The room was silent for a second, then Ruby sputtered out a laughter.

Charles clapped his hands and pointed.

"Thank you! Anyway, I'm here to help you turn your already epic tools of mass murder into instruments of the apocalypse. Because who doesn't want to say they're using one of those to kill grimm? So, bring them out, put your weapons on the forges and I'll take a look." He pauses for a second,"Oh and feel free to ask any questions while I go around."

Nisha still was having trouble even thinking how her weapons can be even more powerful than they already are in her hands. She couldn't help but think of a fan a few feet taller than her like this one ninja chick she saw in this comic. To be honest, that would be fun she thought as she set her fans on the forge and removed her gauntlets.

Sienna dutifully pulled Ladon Cyclone from its holsters and laid the twin revolvers on the forge's top. While she waited, she glanced around the room to see what everyone else's weapons were.

The rest of the weapons were standard fare. Swords, knives, guns, the works. Some of the more outlandish weapons came from teams RWBY and WHIT.

Ruby rose apparently thought that fighting the grimm involved the use of a scythe at least twice as big as she was. Yang had arm gauntlets, Weiss a dust rapier, Blake some weird combination of a whip and a sword.

On the other end of the spectrum, Vance didn't even have a weapon. When Charles came over to his forge, he just grinned and shrugged.

"... you're one of those people aren't you?" the teacher commented.

He moved to the next forge and saw that Elisa only had a paintbrush and a notebook in front of her. The Bonett wearing girl tilted her head at the teacher who looked ready to cry right then and there. At least for his sanity, Azula had a collapsible dagger and a crossbow. Next, to her, Thomas had some sort of gold katana that... is that thing floating?

Charles did a double take at the sword, but threw a thumbs up at it. Heading over to Sienna and Nisha, he stopped at Sienna first. He picked up the pistols and glanced at her.

"Guns... they turn into anything?"
