[Helsing]

Tyson gives his leader a frown.

“You want me to take the time to weaponoze your dumpling oh who the hell am I kidding I’ll start when we get back.”

[Flagmauth]

"Nobody else here has an issue with disguising Dust explosives as food? Because this is gonna go bad real quick."

[Helsing]

“Yes, finally someone with sense,” Weiss says in agreement.

“I lost the right to sanity when nisha became my partner,” Tyson answers.

[A Blind Guy]

"That is a fair point, wouldn't look good for Beacon either."

[Helsing]

The party went on as well as it could, given the people that were in the room. Wiess opted to talk to Sterling and only Sterling during the duration. Yang never woke up. Ruby hung around Tyson pestering him about his bombs.

It took the Vacuo native all of ten minutes to hate his existence with her around.

Blake read a book.

The next day rolled around, and everyone got their gear and reported to the airstrip. The first one to get there was Tyson, much to the surprise of Wiess as team RWBY showed up.

"Tyson... you know how to pilot?" Weiss asks, her disbelief palpable.

Tyson looked down at her, his mouth a straight line. Without looking, he flicked a switch, causing the ship to start up and begin hovering about a foot off the ground.

"... no, I got lucky," he says, his voice a complete deadpan.

Weiss' fist balled together, Ruby smiles, Yang smirks, and Blake rolled her eyes. They got in, letting team SNST get on. Only for Sterling to stop when Opal runs up from the school. She tries to say something, only to go beat red, shove something in his arms and then run back to the school.

"Still the lady killer I see Sterling," Yang smirks.

"Sterling, get in," Tyson shouts from the cockpit, "I'd like to get there with as much fuel as we can."

[Flagmauth]

Sienna chose an isolated seat in the corner. She put on some headphones hooked up to her scroll and started watching a video.

Sterling opens his mouth but closes it as she runs back into the school. He then gets in the ship. sitting in the first available seat he could find. He looks down at what Opal gave him.

Nisha sat next to Sienna and was looking at the scroll to see what video she was watching

[Flagmauth]

Sienna gave her a look that was suspended somewhere between confusion, irritation and "it's Nisha, what else is new?" but said nothing and quickly went back to the video. It appeared to be an episode of some TV show.

[Helsing]

Sterling... well he didn't know what it was for, but it was a pretty enough locket.



As the airship began to take off, Yang sat down next to Sienna, throwing an arm around her and grinning from ear to ear.

"So I heard from Rubes that we're headed to your hometown? Excited? Got a boy waiting for you?"

[Flagmauth]

"...no and no." Sienna was honestly a bit exasperated at this point that nobody had bothered to look up what happened. What was the internet even for? "The Grimm kinda destroyed Myrkvidr years ago."

[Helsing]

Yang's smile dropped off her face.

"Oh."

No more needed to be said.

Ruby and Weiss were blissfully unaware of the talk, given how Weiss was in the cockpit with Tyson and Ruby was listening to some music. However, Tyson did send a worried glance Sienna's way, the sympathy clear on his face.

Sterling fascened the locket around his neck. Overhearing the conversation that just took place he felt like an idiot.

[Flagmauth]

Sienna, for her part, felt a little bad that she'd killed the conversation so quickly given that Yang was only trying to be nice. "It's fine...you didn't know," she tried to assure the other girl.

[Helsing]

"But they should have," Blake comments.

"That's not fair, Blake," Weiss scolds, "Information on any village outside of the city walls is hard to come by."

"It's not hard to infer."

"Even if it is, please stop it, I don't want to dodge nevermores," Tyson says from up front, "We'll be there in a few hours."

[Flagmauth]

"Yeah, I agree with Tyson. Let's change the subject."

[A Blind Guy]

"Well we can discuss tactics before the mission. What's the town like? "

[Flagmauth]

"Kinda small. Town hall was the biggest building, then around that was all the shops. Or what you call shops in such a small town anyway, nothing special. Then out around that you had most of the actual houses. Sort of a concentric circle layout, with a wall on the outside."

[Helsing]

"Town hall?" Tyson questions, "I'm only getting a church on my map."

[Flagmauth]

"Yeah, it's the same building. It was built as a church but it was the biggest building so we ended up using it to run the town out of too."

[A Blind Guy]

"If the White Fang are held up we would probably see it from above. they would most likely be held up in the church, so we should land outside of town and head in on foot."

[Flagmauth]

"If they're there, they probably would have had to patch up the holes in the city wall. That should make it pretty obvious that somebody's moved in." Sienna said

[Helsing]

"Great plan, but finding a landable area in the middle of a forest isn't too common," Tyson calls from the cockpit, his hand levelling the bullhead as it went through some rough air.

"Just land wherever," Yang waves off.

"And damage the bullhead?" Blake asks.

"We can repaint it later."

Tyson looks to his right, where Weiss was sighing under her breath.

"I know your pain."

"Do you?" Weiss asks.

Tyson glances back at Nisha and Sterling.

"You have no idea."

[Flagmauth]

"Actually all we need is a big enough gap between tree trunks and then I can move the branches out of the way, Tyson." Sienna suggested.

[Helsing]

Tyson blinked before slamming his head against the controls, which happened to unlock and relock the weapons.

Weiss looked particularly frightened at the display.

"Why do I forget these things? Alright! New plan, that! Anyone have a problem with it?"

Blake and Yang shook their heads.

"What?" Ruby asked, taking off her headphones for the first time this trip.

"Spectacular."
