As Cherno struggled to regain its footing Harbinger's head came down on it, the immense mandibles around its jaws punching through the Russian Jaeger's incredibly thick armor plate with a screech of kaiju armor against iron. Harbinger's massive, tooth-filled maw snapped shut mere yards from the Conn-Pod, as the kaiju lifted its head and hauled Cherno bodily into the air.

Cherno desperately tried to free itself from Harbinger's grip

"Ouch." Tyler says as Atlas got up and saw Harbringer holding a jaeger in its mouth. "Crud." Atlas starts to attack the make shift legs trying to either slow it down or stop it from moving past the jaegers.

[Flagmauth]

A toss of Harbinger's head and Cherno suddenly developed the ability to fly, hurtling across the surf and slamming into Crimson Typhoon, bowling both machines over. Facing one opponent again, Harbinger bellowed its rage at Atlas as it lunged forward.

"Brother! Time to move!" Trent shouts as Atlas tries to get out of the angry Kaiju. "We made an impression!"

[Flagmauth]

The ponderous Mark IV lurched out of the way of the onrushing maw. But it wasn't quite fast enough. Harbinger's mandibles closed on the shoulder joint of Atlas' left arm and as the momentum of the Jaeger carried it away, Harbinger's head pulled the other way and Atlas' arm came clean off, with a chunk of the shoulder joint and chest to boot.

Inside the Conn-Pod the Jaeger's warning systems screamed that the reactor's shielding had been compromised even as the neurofeedback systems fed the fiery pain of losing a limb and part of a torso fed into the Rangers' bodies.

Cherno gets up off of Crimson and then races to help Atlas

Trent's sole arm was scarred as he howled in pain, Tyler had his mouth open but no sound came out. Atlas held it's left side before the pilots calmed down.

"Shatter Dome, Atlas is severely damaged, left arm gone. Radiation shielding is compromised. If we stay out here we are only going to get somebody killed. Orders?" The twins report in sync to the Shatter Dome as they back away from the fight.

"We're useless out here, they were right...they were right about everything." Trent says as he snaps and has a nervous breakdown.

[A Blind Guy]

Iron storm charges forward at the kaiju, charging up it's laser with one arm and the other getting ready for a sucker punch.

"Not this time you slimy piece of trash." Marley says between gritted teeth.

[Helsing]

Cherno opens up Harbinger with a uppercut to the jaw

[Flagmauth]

Cherno's fist, since Harbinger is turned the other way, collides with the kaiju's back. It hurts it, but as before there doesn't seem to be much damage done. Judging Atlas to be incapacitated for the moment, Harbinger starts to turn to deal with Cherno Alpha, only to be blindsided in the side of the face by Iron Storm's attack. Bellowing, the kaiju recoils as the blast of plasma carves open one side of its face, half-blinding it before Storm's fist snapped its jaws shut.

Cherno circles around harbanger staying/ ponding on its back

[A Blind Guy]

"Firing jets." the 2 ex cons say at once as Iron storm rockets into the air above the Kaiju, Iron storm prepares to land on top of the beast, hoping to slam it's metal fists into Harbinger's skull.

[Flagmauth]

Storm's jump jets allowed it to gain the air above Harbinger, but the beast managed to shake them off relatively quickly, the two-fisted blow glancing off the kaiju's armor plate. Cherno's efforts were somewhat more successful; its repeated strikes at Harbinger's legs severely affected the monster's ability to keep its balance, leaving it open when Crimson Typhoon, now back on its feet, grabbed one of its front "legs" and hauled it off-balance, nearly tipping over onto its side.

[Helsing]

Cherno continues to pound Harbinger

[Flagmauth]

Cherno's fist collided with Harbinger's flank and the kaiju landed flat on its side. Swearwords in Mandarin flooded the comms as Crimson Typhoon narrowly avoided being trapped under the writhing Category 5.

[A Blind Guy]

Storm charges up 2 point blank shots aiming at the kaiju's head.

[Helsing]

Cherno comes up and along with Storm starts pounding the Kaiju's head in

[Flagmauth]

The first shot is simply tanked by the chitinous armor plates of Harbinger's head. The second shot, however, hits at the base of one of the mandibles and tears through the kaiju's flesh, the mandible falling off entirely into the water. Oh, and then Cherno's tesla-enhanced punch landed right there, nearly smashing the kaiju's head in entirely. As it was, the upper left portion of Harbinger's skull resembled a smashed watermelon (if watermelons were bright blue) and the behemoth's body twitched slightly.

[Helsing]

Cherno left nothing to chance, so it continued to punch

Iron Storm fires 3 more blasts at the deformed Kaiju's head.

[Flagmauth]

They proceed to massively overkill Harbinger's head, resulting ultimately in the mostly-decapitation of the kaiju as the two Jaegers (and Crimson Typhoon after a moment) beat on the corpse.

[Helsing]

Cherno stops after a while

"Harbinger is down, permanently"

Marley transmits over the radio what can only be assumed as cries of pure joy through triumph. while Jim only sighs in relief.
